Absolutely amazing collection of absolutely amazing Japanese pressings. Thanks for sharing, Rob! I always enjoy watching your Maiden videos. Maybe I'll start collecting Japanese pressings after I've got all the original UK pressings first. :D Mikko / TheVinylCorner
Hey- QUESTION. Where did you get that gatefold off plastic leave that allows you to open up the gatefold without removing the gatefold from the sleeve. Regarding Love after death. Thanks. P.S Impressive collection!!!
Thank you for the comment about the European sleeves being thiner then in NA, I just got a Seventh Son LP from Germany and its quite thin compared to all my other LP's.
Don't worry Joe..it IS Matt finish, it's just the stunning condition mate!!!!!! Anyway the Greek bootleg has the obi printed on the sleeve - not a separate piece.
How would you say the sound quality of these Japanese pressings compare to the UK? Are they brighter sounding? Im looking at some Ozzy Osbourne imports.
I wonder if very early copies didn't contain the apology note? The promo version (according to Discogs) doesn't appear to have one either. I bought my copy when it was first imported to the UK and it didn't have the note.
your first album insert looks awfully glossy, are you sure it's not Greek boot? the insert on the Japanese 1st album's insert paper is matte and flimsy
Great way to learn what to expect in an import early pressing, look forward to all your videos.
amazing collection.. you have some serious collection.. enjoy your videos on here

OMG, the Somewhere in Time is soooo purdy. You must have a serious collection of Maiden by now. World class I would say.

Wonderful ;-)
yeah, japanese pressings are always superior...
is the sound quality any better ?
Did sell the maiden japan album yet?
Its funny you mention Monster being so bad, most Kiss fans are liking it, unlike their last few releases. Just saying.
