I would love a building update like a space station building, improved outpost building, improved ship building, or a land vehicles builder.
@kingjeeves4040 I'd like it too, if it added a bunch of stuff! I just have a feeling they won't do it and they'll let creations make this type of content instead

We need more functionality for outposts like maybe having it more like fo4 settlement where npcs can move in and help out etc
@@kingjeeves4040 being able to make your staryard / space station is absolutely amazing with the addition of many kinds of people staying in your star yard doing all sorts of business
Couple of DLCs I would like to see are as follows:
1) Support to setup your own corporation, starship enterprise, or some sort of business. Give that Industrialist background something to anchor on.
2) A more robust colony system where you can build something akin to Akila or New Atlantis, hells maybe even carve out a section of space of your own and create a new faction.

Honestly yeah I love outpost building in fallout 4 for the factions, a dlc to flush it out with a personal Corp or faction would be awesome, I'd also love some wingmen to fly my spare ships

Agreed! We just learned that Shattered Space will have over 50 locations to explore at least, all on 1 planet!
I'm suing a mod that adds more POIs and it can cause lag and crashing.

I think the star map is empty enough to just throw in a few more systems as you discover them.

Starstations please!!!!! I feel like VC has made it possible for BGS to solely focus on large expansions and that is great for us.

I got a starstation with npcs, vendors and even a bar. I call it the Key 😂😊
I think Starfield will have more than two DLCs as Todd said it will have 10 years of support.
If they could manage 2 good dlcs every year they would rule the genre .
I think there could possibly be some ship parts and outpost habs to be included with Shattered Space. Rather than sell a $5 DLC no one might want they could just bundle it into the larger DLCs.

I could see that being something you could run across in a different Universe. Pretty sure the alternate Barret you meet during his questline mentions their colony war is still going on.

I think in shattered space house varrun will be divided into subfractions and that zealots will want to start another crusade while some dont i think we will have the option to chose to support either of them that explains why we se giant canon it would be cool if we were able to notify UC or Freestar collective about varruns presence and asking them for help to fight zealots i would love to see uc vigilance and uc marines fighting varruns,about future dlc it would be cool to join ecliptic mercenaries i think they should be joinable faction.
The number one update I wish they would make is an overhaul to space travel. The eva/super cruise mod is fantastic and I feel like since the engine already allows players to fly between planets, they could rework space travel so that you can go fly in realtime. Or maybe implement a way to walk around the ship while it travels to a destination for immersion. I like the game a lot but this would be my dream update, since it's already shown to be possible in game
Basically just introduce more of an in between period, so that you can't just instantly travel to a planet. I feel like this would make managing resources way more important and make space more exciting if you could be flying and come across a random event like a derelict ship between travel
I'm thinking like your on quest and set destination you give the order to the navigator and it cuts to you walking into the war room to plan with crew, prep and deploy to the surface.
Not on quest it cuts to you and crew in mess or quarters having small interactions or playing cards
The thing is, jump technology kinda doesn't support this lorewise. I wouldn't mind for them to say fuck it, you do warpspeed now, but it really does break a lot of lore

Perhaps what they could do is allow players to fly regular speed and see a time lapse as they travel, with time passing in game as if you were waiting a bunch. And you get pop ups of different events you get interrupted by like space pirates or a derelict ship/random encounter. Similar to how Kingdom Come Deliverance does fast travel. That might be a good alternative while still making space feel more engaged
The thing is, waiting in Starfield to pass time can already pass a whole bunch of days or even weeks based on the local time on the planet. I remember some planets if you wait on your payments to your parents are due way faster because of general relativity and take longer on others from stronger gravity (when I first learned about this IRL my mind was blown)

I think they will add mechs since i did see a leak on a bethesda video of mechs holding some sort of melee pipe weapon. When you go to buy the rev 9 it says "buy vehicles" so that means they possibly could be adding more transport in future maybe?
A few things I’d like to see in future DLC:
Constellation - what happened to Sebastian Banks, its former leader who went missing.
Founding your own colony - building bigger settlements on a New Atlantis scale
Earth - researching technology to restore the planet’s atmosphere and start to recolonise humanity’s home.
What do I want?
●I want huge aircraft carriers as large as a skyscrapers for huge space battles because in space size matters.
●Battlestar Galactica single pilot style space fighter planes with crazy maneuverability to dock and exit said aircraft.
●Long-lasting damage to ships so I can have a reason to craft parts and spacewalk for repairs as an option.
●Giant customizable spacestations for docking, living and defense.There's nothing that says I own this planet quite like a
Giant Spacestation. I wouldn't mind seeing O'Neil Cylinders orbiting around planets either.
●D.F.T. deep field telescopes on my ship and my person to zoom in on distant planets and other objects to far away to detect.
●An end to loading screens.
●Gaint customizable settlements with a butt load of new build items like livable Habs that can stack to make tall and large livable apartment buildings filled with npcs' that can come to settle and live depending on its growth rate and status.
●Bigger biodomes in said settlements to house parks, plantlife, and wildlife.
●Crazy Blade Runner style neon signs for outside building decoration.
●Buildable Streets and inclosed walkway builds.
● Large NPC settlements across the world so we can fight over resources.
●A merchant system where I can mine resources send them up to my spacestation and have spacetrucker cargoships take them out of the system automatically while I get paid.
●Deep cave systems with natural biodomes and antlike monsters and other creatures on moons and places I least expect. Wherever there's water there's a way.
●Crimson Fleet prison labor camps that I can liberate.
●For my ship to be able to fly or hover across the surface of these planets instead of just takeoff and land.
●More weird creature variants like insects that can swarm to hunt or fungi infectious plants and more mammal variant like creatures.
●Avatar looking plantlife, explorable ocean floors. larger GTA sized cities filled with new quests and side missions.
So much space so much potential.
I want it all, and don't care about storage, and despite what the haters say, Starfield is the most likely to deliver it.
I want a new dlc based around another colony war in which you can side with either the UC, Freestar Collective, or House Varuun. Once the questline is finished the faction you side with takes over all major cities and the losing factions are broken into remnants in the far reaches of space. Practically Starfields version of the civil war quest in Skyrim.

I love starfield. If the dlc is a huge handcrafted map with real exploration, and if they do it every year, i am so in ❤
You know 5million people played starfield this month? there are 300k people playing right now. If bethesda can nail this dlc thing, there's a sustainable future!
I would like more unique locations in the systems, more derelict ships and stations from the colony wars with side quests.
I would like to see more towns/cities. I mean haven't they been among the stars for 200 years? We have what 6 major places? Hopetown isn't even a town. We got one more place coming in Varuun space, that I know of. I also think there will be a more religious psycho cult settlement coming, like a branch off of either the Enlightened or Universals.
I want better outpost building. Like more options, snap to grid, or getting rid of the stupid momentum.
They have to pull off a fall harbour at this point to get in any good graces. And I'm just not expecting that.
It’s kind of sad that the best mods now are paid but I understand.. doesn’t mean it doesn’t suck… like Starfield compendium should be in the game from the start…

Collecting resources. Making a ship. Launching into orbit. Making station: (medical/military/casino/theme park/housing/clone bank/resource cargo bank).
I think we'll get 3 story expansions and 3 building or feature style expansions if you know what i mean? All i want is a starborn update AND a legendary skill system like they added to skyrim so i can keep dumping skills points into my character
Only in your dreams. Here's how this is going to play out. Shattered space is going to sell terribly because only a very small crowd is actually still interested in playing the game. The player numbers at release were very inflated because of gamepass, but the DLC will not be on gamepass, so it will sell very poorly because 90% of players have moved on because of the rather underwhelming quality of the base game.
I think Shattered space will be the first real rude awakening for Bethesda, showing them their new Status as a once cherished developer who has fallen from grace.

Colony war and who made the artifacts and temples for story expansion ideas. I really want some sort of M class cruiser to. Space stations. They really need to setup outpost to a point where we can run our own colonies.

I hope for some non story focused DLCs but still adding significant content and value . I mean functional content like Outpost additions (asset and gameplay wise), improvements to algorithm handling procedural generation, more radiant stuff, POIs, Loot improvements etc. But it still should be something 'big' as opposed to 5 dollar quests. Anyway, I am huge fan of the game.

Star station definitely, but with an option to populate with npc that generate money
We need either a space station player home or... our own freighter & fleet command kinda mini game (my preference)

The dlc needs to be all about different types of exploration underwater, deep space alien encounters, new undiscovered ideas and adventures. I've had enough of the space politics and space cowboy and Indian pirates lol for real

How do u think, virtually, is it possible to implement online in starfield ?
Personally, I hope they never make Starfield online or even create an online Starfield game.
Of course it's just personal preference, but I'm tired of all single player games getting an online mode. I play BGS games because they're an amazing single player experience.

Does not need fixing. It simply is not for you. So move on.
