One of the best crossbody bags in my collection by far is my Pochette Metis in empreinte leather. I got mine in the limited edition color "Cherry Berry" and it has since accompanied me for 1,5 years. Now it's time to show you how it has endured its time with me.

I have the Tourterelle Pochette Metis bought in may 2020 and god, it's an amazing daily bag. It can be classy, it can be casual, but it's still a strong piece in your look. It's so practical. I agree with you : I have some more to love and it feels really flattering to wear this bag.
I bought some protections for the hardware that I change every 4-6 months and it's really ok. The hardware doesn't fade at all for the moment !

I don't remember this colour but its stunning! Red is such a great neutral colour that goes with everything. I have this bag in the black leather and its such a great piece to have, totally agreed!

This bag is one of my favourites too. So much so that I have two of them; the black and the rose poudre. When the gold hardware on my bags looks tarnished, a frequent occurrence in a humid climate, I give them a light polish with a gold jewellery polishing cloth which I get from Amazon. It gets the tarnish off very quickly. I have worn my black one so much that the embossing has flattened out a bit but I like it. It’s more discreet but the bag still looks stunning. Your one is such a beautiful colour. It’s a pity that it has been discontinued.
I quite like the embossing flattening too since it is less obvious then. The leather is still exquisite! What a lovely duo you have, they cover all needs a woman might have 😂👍🏼👍🏼😍

I have a 3 year old pochette metis in black and I have the same “problems”. It’s just characteristic to this bag to have wrinkles where the flap folds and the piping can peel from the corners. I have accepted that and just used it as a care free bag knowing that it’s leather and it can be fixed!
I loooooove love mine so much. It fits everything I want and some. One thing that does kinda bother me that the leather has started to lift of or peel of from the front side but meh 🤷🏻♀️ I’m happy that you love yours as much as I love mine. And anyone hoping to get this bag, get it!
Aarghh I haven’t had the peeling issue yet... But I’m confident if it gets worse with you there are ways to fix it. I’m so happy you enjoy yours too! Such a great bag, I would get it in every color if I was crazier than I am now 😂😂😅

I think it’s stunning ! A lot more elegant than the monogram canvas one and I feel it wouldn’t look out of place on summer evening dinners that are slightly fancier and where the monogram one would look like a bit of a sloppy alternative... I say go for it !! The empreinte leather is sooo stunning !

Do you know which product “could” revive the gold hardware? Specially for those cases where the tarnishing is very bad?
I don’t know how it’s called where you’re at, but you can find a product in a DIY store. It’s a product they use for jewellery as well. Which country are you based at? I’ll look it up for you! 😉
