This has been my phone's ringtone for so many years now. I hear the song so much anymore that I take it for granted. I have to come back here from time to time and listen to it in full again to fix that.
The metroid series is unlike any other. The music is amazing too. Good job on this remix. Captured the essence of the metroid series in one song and made it into a catchy tune.

Pebbles086 Kiess if you’re talking about Castlevania, I agree it’s similar. I do love the Belmont’s eternal struggle with Dracula but the Metroid Prime, for example surpassed all Castlevania games.
Even in 2021 the trilogy has aged so well in my opinion. It’s been a big part of my childhood and has and always will be in my top 5 favorite game series to play

Seems a MP4 is in the works. I hope they return to the themes that define the game. Solitude, figuring out the story from environmental clues (not dialog from characters, or at a minimum), progression (feel weak at first, like the most powerful in the world after collecting 100% upgrades), and non-linearity (optional depending on how well the story works without it).

This guy is great. I actually know him. He knows what he's doing with music. Tons of unreleased stuff, + he always uses different names. Its a bit trickier to find his stuff.

I had somehow forgotten all about this amazing remix, but then I remembered it while listening to other remixes and couldn't remember the name. It was driving me crazy...then I scrolled down and saw it!
