The latter technique is very good for figure painting. Thank you Susan.

I really like the curvy marks you made at the end - and it's so relaxing to watch you doing that after a long day doing my art = thank you!

Great video, thank you! I've been been struggling to translate drawing and print making mark making into painting - but never tried tools beyond brushes.

Hello, I was watching Denise Love's Channel, and I saw where you said you had make Stamps . So, I was hoping you would help me, I want to make some if I can find the stuff. I found the Foam Board, but the PINK stuff she made the Stamps out of I can't find. If you remember what it is called and where to buy it, that would help me a lot. Thank You..

You can buy it as a kids craft item at Michaels or amazon as adhesive foam craft sheets.

Here’s thought: Instead of adding more plastic (as in “plastic wrap”) to the tons of the toxic material already contaminating our landfills, climate and oceans, why not just wash your palette? Or could you use some kind of paper, which isn’t lethal?

We live in an area where we are careful to ration our water usage, hence the liner. I do brush the paint off onto papers that I use for collage so very little added to my garbage.

@@Susanpurneymark Good to know! There are few crafters/artists online who even mention the connection between climate change and ocean pollution and plastic. Seems like people under 50 aren’t even aware of any of the above.

@Susan Purney Mark I’ve been wanting to make my own patterned paper for collage and this video got me started in that direction. Thanks 🎈💕🎈
