I always wondered why Bud & some regular panelists would be taking a vacation during the show's season. Didn't they have the summer off? I'm sure TTTT didn't run 52 wks./year.
Make's John Daly on Whats My Line? look like a harder worker than I already was aware, he didn't miss a show until many years into the show and it was live most that time, it wasn't until later on they taped that show so that it could air over the summer while the cast took vacation and then went back to live around September through May or June. ANd the only reason Mr. Daly missed the show was he had to go to someplace like Europe for his news job to cover a story and that happened a few times, so the only time he took I as far as I remember and saw was for other work obligations for his news journalism job and then when they taped for the summer in the later years. I like Mr. Collyer but I dare say John Charles Daly was the harder worker.
Bennett Cerf used to have holidays during the season too. He wasn't always working. Anyone is entitled to have vacations any time I like to see a guest host occasionally. Just like the panellists holiday too.
I'm still trying to find out why I had never heard of Sonny Fox or "Wonderama." (However, I did discover that Mr. Fox is still alive, and has his own website!)
@@joeambrose3260 Well, I found out why I had never heard of him: "Wonderama" was (and perhaps still is) a completely local show for the New York City area, and I grew up near Los Angeles. In any case, if you want to know about Mr. Fox, you can go to his homepage here: www.sonnyfox.tv/
Dr. James is right, but more than that she was a patron of the arts. She was one of the biggest supporters of the concept and construction of the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) in Saratoga Springs, NY, as well as other venues which showcase the lively arts.
@@garybrewer2352 Oh man did they, I can’t imagine how it would be to have someone like them in office. If just John and Bobby Kennedy had become President this country would look different as night and day.?
The Press Correspondence part was really interesting.
Sonny Fox is really good. I’m surprised he wasn’t more widely known.
Familiar faces with Betty and Tom Poston, great to see this episode. Thank you for the upload!!
My 2 sisters were on Sonny Fox's children's show called Wonderama around 60 years ago. He did a nice job filling in for Bud.
Sonny Fox is still with us at 91 yrs. of age!
Ive never heard of Sonny Fox.
An odd episode because there were no female contestants.
Haven't watched it all yet but number 3 looks Sudanese to me...got something right...Betty nearly did the eeny meeny rhyme...bit ditzy...

What happened to Sonny Fox - he did a great job!
He passed away in January at age 95 of COVID 19 according to Wikipedia.
@Farrah300 or something else at least....

Why was he exiled ?

Sonny Fox must have been a game show host
Celebrity Guests:
1. Betty White
2. Ralph Bellamy
3. Kitty Carlisle
4. Tom Poston
Host:
Sonny Fox
What in the world was Kitty's occupation??
Actress, opera singer and Broadway performer.
Basically a socialite.
How very dismissive of you, master of misogyny. She earned her paychecks, as well as being married to Moss Hart.
Famous for being famous

A rare episode of TTTT where all of the contestants were men.
Yeah, my least favorite episode
@joeambrose3260 why's that then?
Is that Bud !!!!????
Geez doesnt Sonny Fox look a lot like Bud ? Even his mannerisms !!!!
Man #2 in Game #1
Man #3 in Game #2
Man #2 in Game #3
I can’t figure out why Mr Fox’s ears look so white. Hard not to notice size
Betty White was always so OLD
Boy the press used to have class, what happened? Oh I know CNN MSNBC NBC abc cbs New York Times etc.
Also we had real leaders then, Eisenhower and Kennedy far outclassed the current crop.

Thank you. We needed an unnecessary opinion that has nothing to do with the entertainment of all watching this episode. 👏👏👏👏
@@ronniebishop2496 didn't John become president or was that just the history books talking?
@@thisravenhasflown010 John did, and only for three years, Bobby never did. And Ted was threatened with death if he became president.
