Martin Gabel was married to Arlene Francis and also always wore a tuxedo on that show when he was on the panel. Betty White did her best to live up to Polly's antics. Kitty always enjoys herself on the show. The first contestant in game 3 had the legs of a Rockette but watch how the real Rockette turned and came down the stairs. Like a dancer. Thanks for the video.
The Rockette Mrs. Judith Ann Love in 1980 wrote the book "Thirty Thousand Kicks" a very entertaining and informative look at a Rockette's plight. She devotes a chapter to appearing on this episode.
Being British and a Formula 1 fan I kinda knew the first person :D ... similar to the feeling of WML when Bobby Moore was on and the panelists were stumped hehe. Thanks for the post
This is the last TTTT episode I'll be posting for a while-- I'm hopelessly behind on watching these shows, not to mention life in general! Today's episode is the last of 1958, featuring not just national treasure Betty White, but also a figure beloved to WML fans, Martin Gabel. Thanks in advance for your patience during the break. The impression I have is that I'm not the only one woefully behind on watching these shows, so we'll all have a chance to catch up now! :) --------------------------- Join our Facebook group for TTTT-- great discussions, photos, etc, and great people! facebook.com/groups/718020231652577/ To stay up to date with postings, please consider supporting the TTTT channel by subscribing. Fans of Betty White (and who isn't?) might want to check out this playlist of all the eps of WML and TTTT she appeared on. All her WML shows are already posted, but there are new TTTT shows being added all the time! ua-cam.com/play/PLqsaqh5sqUxprN4spg9FDonrj8RVa8udE.html
+Randy A. Lovering It's very possible; the problem is that I'm missing a huge chunk of consecutive shows, and I had hoped to be able to post this series in order without the jumping around I had to when I was posting WML. If/when I resume posting, we're going to have to skip ahead to 1962, which is a shame. I was hoping that by now I'd have gotten a lead on a source for the missing shows, but nothing so far.
Now did game show network make a mistake because I saw their little comment come up on the screen, that said "aired in June 1958". Anyways, I will miss the daily uploads, and will probably go back to WML and look at a lot of reruns from there. Take care and do what you need to do for yourself. Looking forward to the return of these shows :) By the way do you have plans for The Price is Right uploads with Bill Cullen ? (Not the Bob Barker series)
+DolphinNation GSN did screw up the dates at times, yes. I'm really sorry to say that I have no intention of starting any more UA-cam channels ever again. As great an experience as it is sharing the videos with fans and having these great discussions, I've been burned too many ways too many times, by UA-cam, by companies making false copyright claims, by users who steal every single video I post. There's no customer support, quite literally. None. I almost lost the entire WML channel this summer-- I'm never again putting so much work into creating channels for UA-cam that can be removed at any time by any company making whatever b.s. claims they feel like making. It's a very sad state of affairs, but UA-cam doesn't care about guys like me at all, not even having channels with a combined view count of around 15 MILLION. They only care about the huge channels pulling in millions of views a day.
+DolphinNation And I should have also said-- I'm glad you've been enjoying the videos! :) We've been doing WML reruns one every weekday, if you want to watch along with other folks. The main channel page always shows the current rerun right at the very top. Thanks for your support and interest!
+To Tell the Truth (CBS) I agree with you on UA-cam. I have been very involved in the UA-cam Fitness channels for a couple of years and seen more than enough to kind of turn me off from doing a lot of videos anymore. Some channels would blow up to around 5,000 or so subs and then ignore smaller channels. The snobbery is just terrible and I usually unsub channels when they get big enough and start that business
In game 1, surprised people still voted for #2 after he botched the tachometer question. Were they not standard on cars at that time? I rarely can say this, but in Game 2 I was sure it was #1. Surprised she didn't get more votes.

Martin nailed round two with one question.
His experience from _What's My Line?_ certainly paid off here.
I'm gonna miss these wonderful shows, and will be counting the days until you post more. Thanks!

+To Tell the Truth (CBS) Thanks for taking the time sharing those shows! I think it is enjoyed, even if there are not too many comments. Thank you.
To Tell the Truth (CBS) - Thank you so much for all your hard work. We appreciate these fun shows. :)
An error occurred on screen, placed there by the Game Show Network, saying the episode was aired in "June 1958". It was actually December.
can wait to see more of to tell the truth
I disqualify myself in the first round as I know which one is Stirling Moss ;) Nice to see Mr Arlene Francis on TTTT.
He would hate to be called that.
@@donnawoodford6641 How do you know that, he seemed like a very gracious man to me.

I guessed #1 Stirling Moss correctly on his physical appearance: compact, a bit tense, focused and the right build for that sport, same as a jockey.
How could Hy vote for #2, in the first game, when he didn't even know what a tachometer was.
It’s weird how they never take a moment to talk with the real person about their achievements after the round is over
That is why I prefer to watch the show "What's my line".
@@SirVictor123 me too! :)
Pick up a carton of Marlboro Cigarettes on the way out, how times have changed.
Martin Gabel, a real class act.
I have always thought so as well!
He's nothing without Arlene.
For goodness sake, that's not just any race car driver, it's Stirling Moss!!! Put his name in the title for more clicks.
Celebrity Guests:
1. Betty White
2. Martin Gabel
3. Kitty Carlisle
4. Hy Gardner
Host:
Bud Collyer
I should know what Stirling Moss looks like but I couldnt tell lol.
Martin Gable as sharp as a tack! :)
He was better at this game than he was at WML His wife was the best on WML, by a small margin over Dorothy Kilgallen.
Man #1 in Game #1
Lady #1 in Game #2
Lady #3 in Game #3
hope to see more to tell the truth in 2016

Dear lord, I thought by naturalist they meant naked type. What’s My Line had one on in the 50’s.

thanks bro, yes I enjoy all of these uploads, anything from the mid-1960's I can remember...I was born in 1960.

+R.D. Dragon Most passenger cars did not come with Tachs in the 50's, in the US anyway.
Funny how back than how they gave away cigarettes, today they would be sued. 🙃
No they wouldn't
