Just received Encre Noir Sport in the mail yesterday & i have to agree that it is exceptional, especially for the price.

From your reviews it seems we have similar taste in our favorite fragrances. I find myself picking up a lot of fragrances blindly and enjoying them. Really looking forward to receiving my Encre Noire Sport!
smells horrible for my opinion. Much to sweet and max for age till 20 or so
Great video. I have to differ on Hanae Mori Him though. To me, it lacks the zesty fresh effervescence of Gucci Pour Homme II, which is what makes that fragrance so exotic and intoxicating, when combined with the tea and cinnamon.

I just want to be honest I have a handful of fragrance subscriptions and your the one I tend to push if I need to watch a video.your honest and funny not to mention interesting. Talking about Gucci pour Homme I. I recently bought Parfum s vintage imbue and it’s a complete clone. Smells exactly like it but with better performance. It’s the best $75 I spent. Can’t argue with any of these. Pure Lavender is one of my favorites for spring. Guerlain Vetiver is so quality, too.

The Hanae Mori Him you reviewed was it the EDT or EDP version because i remember getting a 2ml sample from Bloomingdale's in san fran back when it was just released in 2012

Great list. Most of them have wonderful scent. But in my country (VIETNAM). You have to pay over 52usd for one of the cheap fragrance in this list. The Uomo Signature's price here is same as a bottle of Givenchy Gentlement EDP :(

Sung Homme by Alfred Sung is $15 and smells like Irish Spring. A great simple clean & fresh fragrance.
I put on Pure Lavender today and opened up UA-cam and had this video immediately recommended to me.

Guerlain vetiver is such a classic. However there are 3 cheapies I can't live without, Moschino uomo, Versace the dreamer and Calvin Klein Escape.
Lalique Hommage a l'homme is sensanional, but nothing more than a skin scent. After the first 2-3 minutes, you have to really deep your nose in it to catch the smell. Although it lasts many long hours, projection/sillage is zero.

ash, watcha think about a video showing us some fragrances from middle eastern houses? there are a few who deserve at least the same respect as some typical designer houses we know.
Ash, thank you for mentioning that Guerlain Vetiver isn’t a great choice for the heat. I enjoy TF Grey Vetiver, and was hoping the Guerlain would be a cheaper alternative for the summer.

Bruce Banner I have a sample of the EDP and it’s strong. But it can be a different story with other people’s skin. Definitely try to sample it, if/when stores open again.
Guerlain vetiver is incredible at any price. We’re spoiled it can be had for so little money

Encre Noire Sport is my SOTD. Speaking of Niche Quality, I love Bergamote 22 by Le Labo, but I feel like EN Sport is of similar quality, and fills the same niche (get it?) as B22, but at a fraction of the price.
How much fresher is it than the original?

The Spanish house Adolfo Dominguez make some great cheap fragrance too, Vetiver Hombre and Agua Fresca Citrus Cedro are both stand out

Sadly it's discontinued. It's one of my favorite fragrances and I'm glad I still have over 10-15ml probably. Now the price for it has skyrocketed. I almost picked it up for $50 a week before it was discontinued.
Ferragamo Uomo Signature and Halloween X are very similar IMO. I almost though Halloween X was a clone.
I would add: Zara Noble Palo Santo. That s such a great release. I love it for each season.
Love the Encre Noire but honestly it doesn’t last too long so I have to go heavy on it.

Ace, you seem to really really really love Encre Noir line. Either that or you were sponsored by them periodically imo. Also, cheapies yes, but if other viewed this and bought $30 x 10 = 300, not so cheap. That's near Aventus territory, or can get one Marly plus another non cheapie for life. Or 2 Tom Ford non-private lines x 2 bottles, (ie. Noir Extreme full size bottle x 2).

I cant stand that guerlain ideal its honestly a hyped frag.
The only if in Pure Lavender is the huge amount of ambroxan. Then it settles after 30 minutes, but I have to fight with it for half an hour every time I wear it.
Encre Sport fills a lot of needs???!!! Yeah, but does it smell like death?? LOVE that scent

It was a scrubber for me... but I can't stand calone (in 95% of sport/aquatics). Found the original generally best.

I’ve only tried the original, and it was so ‘dark’. Inky vetiver and iso e super. No projection. The flankers would have to be seriously different to be worth a sniff.
We have the opposite experience. Everybody around me loves it. It always garner positive attention from the girls. I own all from the line and love them all too! High quality borderline niche and excellent performance too for a steal of a price!

I wouldn't call Guerlain Vetiver a cheapie , I have one bottle and it is usually listed at over a Hundred dollars Canadian. Great list though! I have both encre noir and encre noir extreme and now I would like to try the sport.

I'm pretty sure he did review ck reveal as part of another video dedicated to multiple scents. If memory serves me correct, that's how I learned about reveal.
Had JV Vintage and gave it away to my uncle, found this fragrance pleasant but quite a bit sugary and overly sweet in my opinion, quality is there but it just not for me.
