Parents' portrait GDR Litfaß column sticker, 1984

Eugen Murrak is a poster sticker and rides through Berlin on his motorbike to put up posters on Litfass columns. In the GDR, too, information or advertising was posted by Litfass pillar. The job of the poster sticker was to keep the posters up to date and to replace old messages with new ones. Eugen's day begins with the folding the posters, followed by delivering and careful pasting throughout the city. Safety comes first here, of course: When climbing the ladder, the Littfass gluer wears a helmet.
