hi everyone!
1/2 cup of grated natural soap
1 cup of water
mix
1 tablespoon baking soda
add to water gradually
mix until the soap is melted
1/4 tablet for cistern
this trick is very economical and durable
cut to melt easily
mix well
cook without stopping stirring
until it breaks to boil
remove from heat and let cool
when it is warm, pour in into plastic cups or a small empty bottle
chill in the fridge for 4 hours
it comes out a lot lasts for 6 month
after 4 hours
cut into small rectangles
1 large gauze pad, in my case i used 2 small gauze pads
your bathroom will smell fresh 24 hours a day

I think over time the soap will leave a nasty residue in the cistern and toilet bowl plus there are many products around to buy for sanitising
Using soap in the flush tank will kill the anaerobic bacteria in the septic tank which is very much required.
That's too much work. Just get air freshener it lasts 40 days.
Soap goes int ok septic from bath too...
@@bethminer7966 Bathroom water is channelised into a different one usually in our place. Septic tank requires anaerobic bacteria to work upon it. Soap hampers this process.

Way to much to do to clean a toilet, get some lysol commode cleaner,it's great for the cleaning part,and a good plug in air freshener, job done
I think it meant to hang up in the bathroom to freshen the air.

To get rid of bathroom stink, way out is to frequently spray phenyl solution on bathroom floor and wipe. Pouring a little of phenyl in commode after each use would also help. Phenyl is perfumed and is disinfectant and also readily available at all provision stores.

Cistern is a blue chunk and a powerful disinfectant that dissolves in water. It is used in porta-johns, and they sell the blue tablets which are meant to be put in the tank part of your toilet and replaced when the water stops turning blue. I don't think this is about putting this in the toilet or toilet tank. I think it is for hanging in the bathroom and freshening the air in the bathroom. I really don't know.

Putting soap in the tank is not a good idea. The soap will turn slime and the whole tank will get dirty . Fungus on the walls in the tank
