9:46. There is a little difference between your version of afritada and our authentic Filipino afritada, but they look almost similar. I'm sure your mama's version of afritada also tastes so good. Your mama fried the chicken first. Did you know that that is the original Spanish way of cooking afritada? Afritada originated from the Spanish word "fritada," which means fried and then braised with tomatoes and other ingredients. Most of our foods here in the Philippines are Spanish in origin, actually, not African. I'm a Filipino chef. And if only your location in Manila is close to where I live, I would teach you how to cook authentic Filipino foods, breads, and snacks. I'm sure your mama will learn how to cook our foods really well. I suggest that you eat at carinderias most often, so you can taste different authentic Filipino cuisine.
