Ginger..... Chop finely tomato, onion then grated ginger
mix everything in a salad bowl and add fish sauce ...

I’m sure your mom will like Philippines but this time we have the El Niño which is long hot weather.. You should have schedule your trip last January until February for it was cooler.. but anyway since you have already planned it I wish you a happy and safe trip.. just be careful and drink a lot of water .. I wish to meet you and your mom but I am in Iloilo City an hour trip in plane from Manila.. TC

Hi Andrei. Please don't get me wrong here. I really love Mom Olga to visit the Philippines, but her health is and should be paramount here. It is now summer season and is too hot in the Philippines. Your Mom's body may just only be used to cold and fine season. Her body might be shocked with our weather here. Your body is different from hers. Yours can adapt well. I am but worried that she might be stressed out due to the high heat and catch herself a cold, if not a flu. I wish and pray not. Some foreigners and even locals are already getting sent to the hospitals here due to the heat and them getting high blood pressures and some led to stroke. I say this because my Grandmother was sent to hospital and my friend's Dad as well due to the said heat. Most of us locals already knew that frequent water intake is the key to surviving summer here. And, ofcourse using an umbrella always when walking under the sun. So, in short I just want everything cleared with her medical checkup and doctor's assessment and advice. I hope Mom Olga is already mentally briefed and conditioned on her expectations in the Philippines and its weather. All the best for You and Mom Olga, Man. 👍👍🫰🫶✌👊🙏🙏
