In a time when everyone is talking bokeh, you talk composition. You are a standout photographer and a very good educator. Really excellent collection of videos
Congratulations on your idea. The secret to happiness is doing what you love and striving to get it. Go ahead, things will get better for you, I wish you luck. You have my full support.❤
I completely agree that it's important in just enjoying the walk & interaction with the street & the people in it even if you don't get the good photo. It also can be a time for experimenting with different things. It seems that the field of view of the video is close to that of your stills which makes it interesting for the viewer to see how they would capture the view amd comparing it to what you saw.
Thanks to your videos! I really appreciate the insight you're sharing on each of them. I live near a market and it is always a busy place. Your pointers are spot on as guidance. I'll start my channel and upload my street photos.
Yes ! So happy you posted it, I was patiently waiting for it to drop. 🙃 Loved it ! Incredible how at 2:18 you caught that shot so quickly ... did you see her coming ?
Glad you enjoy it! The music in most of my videos belongs to friends of mine scattered across the world. So cool to have this chance to share their music too.
I have watched all of your videos and have thoroughly enjoyed all of them. Thank you for sharing them. They are doing a fantastic job of showing me things I want to work on with my own photography as far as composition is concerned.
you are my favorite contemporary photographer! wow your pictures are just amazing. By chance I stumbled upon your channel and I very recently bought a xpro2 to replace all my gear and I love it so much. I got the 16mm f2.8 as the first lens and now I am worried its too wide, do you think I should consider trying to sell this and go for the 18mm?
I can only say that for me the 16mm is way too wide. The actual field of view is of a 24mm… but it stills has the distortion of a 16mm. A no no for me. I think to begin with a 23mm is much easier to get used to.
@@eortizfoto thank you, I am going to exchange my 16mm for a 18mm. Found a seller willing to. Eduardo, will you ever record a video on your editing process? I am very curious how you process your files
I really like your work, video, music, pictures and insight! What’s you favorite everyday lens? I gravitate towards 23 and 18 but it’s hard to tell. Thanks keep it up 💯
Depends... I'm always carrying my 18mm fujinon as it is small and cheap. otherwise, if I feel safe, i'd rather have with me the XF 23mm f1.4, I just love its colour rendiiton.

I personally think that bokeh is overused, There are so many different ways to isolate your subject.
I love the composition exercise! Thanks for sharing
Glad you like it! It’s a great exercise! 😊
I usually don’t write comments
But dude you are better than 99.9% of streetphotographers on UA-cam
Really inspiring
Wow how flattering then. Thanks a million for watching and for passing by and leave a comment.
awesome shots... and thanks for the exercise at the end 👍
The composition exercise is very smart! It also depicts the way you observe the scene which is really cool.
Hope you try it out!

Glad you like them! But don’t torture yourself like that haha

This is the most underrated photography channel in all youtube. You are so good! ( Y lo dice un argentino a un chileno, imaginate jajajaj)
ahahah wow it means the world then! every bit of helps spreding the channel goes a long way
gracias ! i´
gracias ! I´m learning a lot watching your videos.
Love these videos and your philosophical take on photography. Question though, what is your pov set up?
Thanks a lot! I use a Osmo action (the first one) it records 4K so it’s good enough. Although I’m thinking to get one of those osmo pockets
Great work! 👏👏👏
Thanks a lot!
Thank you!
Really liked this video and how you broke things down. The exercise at the end with the paper and shapes was helpful as well. Beautiful photos!
Your videos are always great. We need more street photography pov:D
More to come! slowly but surely!
I have learnt so much from you Eduardo. Will you ever do a video on photo editing?
Possibly! But to be honest…. My editing is super simple.
Yes ! So happy you posted it, I was patiently waiting for it to drop. 🙃 Loved it ! Incredible how at 2:18 you caught that shot so quickly ... did you see her coming ?
Thanks for watching! Actually not, I was just lucky. I zone focus so I don’t need to focus every time I see a shot.
Excelentes fotos bro. Muy hermosa la gente de Perú, espero algún día poder visitar. Un abrazo desde Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
Your photos are like a sweet song with guitare ❤
What a lovely comment! Thank you so much for watching
An amazing video once again Eduardo! Thank you for an amazing lesson and for sharing these great pictures! The music is so good too!
My pleasure! So glad to hear you enmjoyed the video. I'm lucky to have so many friends that are musicians!
The work shown on 1:47 is mind blowing. One of the best photographs I've seen this year.
Took that shoot about 2/3 years ago I think
Composición y colores mágicos. Eres un grande. Felicitaciones

Every video is a masterclass🙌🏾
Wow! Thank you! ☺️
Wonderful!!! Are you doing anything special when we see your hand waving in front of the lens?
Well seen! I’m checking if the exposure is right. I use my hand to check whether my skin is well exposed.
Thx Eduardo, great instructions, also like your use of colours and edits.
Glad you like them! thanks for watching!
@@eortizfotoCan I Ask, do you use a certain Fuji film style ?
@@rogerevens use many… as starting points. Mainly provia, astia and cc.
Good photos, nice music, useful exercise. Bravo. Are you ever come to Italy?
Maybe one day! I need money for that
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks buddy!!! ❤️
Great video! Love the exercise on composition at the end :)
Glad you liked it! Really enjoyed to do that exercise back in the beginning of my photography journey
Great stuff as per usual, Eduardo!
Glad you think so! and thanks a lot for watching!!
Nice video 👏 very immersive ❤
Thank you very much for watching!
Another great video.
I appreciate that! thanks for passing by!
Thank you for this video
My pleasure!
What lens did you use for this video? I think I have missed it!
For the vidéo or the photos?
What film preset do you shoot with ??
i learned a lot
So glad to hear that!!!
Hermosas fotos Eduardo ! 🙌
Muchisimas gracias!!

@@eortizfoto oh man now I’m in trouble I think I’ll have to try the 23 1.4 😁 I usually carry the small f2 because it is weather sealed.
@@Lorenzo_Melocchi I dip into the ganga river with the 23mm and it survived without any issue. I think weather sealing is over rated.
@@eortizfoto thanks 👍🏻
@@eortizfoto got the 23 1.4 today ❤
Incredible work. What a valuable video.
Glad you think so! Thanks a million!
Excelente Eduardo! Puedo preguntarte que strap usas?
Ufff Cre que se llama Owa Strap la compre cuando estaba en Turquia. No se si vendan internacionalmente. instagram.com/owa.strap/
Do you use autofocus or manual focus when you are shooting? And if you use autofocus which focus setting do you find most useful?
The ladies selling green vegetables also wear green. That's some proper taste they demonstrate, no joke intended.
The ladies selling meat in the market wear a red coat lol
