Chessdawg is a great UA-camr probably one of my favorites his videos are so instructional
I agree he is good, but “instructional” isn’t really a compliment. Like saying a Corvette is my favorite sports car, it cranks every time I put the key in it. Okay, but what else do you REALLY like about it?
@@wingwang007agree, there’s another fella just as good. Forgot his name.

@@wingwang007spot on bro 😎 spot on!!
I just began my o learn chess last year n
I learned all my chess rules n moves mainly from him.
Another favourite is Anna. She’s just gorgeous n bubbly.
There’s probably over 500 chess channels that I haven’t viewed.
chessdawg more like chessgoat of all time
Has anybody ever told you that you sing when you talk? Great voice.
You have a nice annotation style. I have been trying to learn chess since the 70s. I would go through lots of old games and not realize half of what was going on.
great job! much appreciated sir
Kasparov once said that Carlsen was a mix of Fischer and Karpov.
I am a mix of Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo........playing chess 😂
Lithal
@@postmasterpez Yes, I think it was "a lethal combination of Fischer and Karpov"
Hit a plateau with my chess until I found Chessdawg. Going to watch every video available from this wonderful channel!
Nice find!! Very instructive game
Another great vid CD! Thanks
After 41 years i knew the great legend of chess..in 1968 rueben fine is very classy..😊
Nice complex game,thanks.
I’m far far from an expert but noticed White played a few rather unusual moves for a GM during the mid game….
The art of War applied to Chess:
Attack when your enemy is asleep 😴
@8:55sec All of Magnus’s pawns are asleep at their base. 😮😮😮
White had an open field to attack… and retreat to defend!!!!
K & 2 B attack king side n Q come in for the kill…
Great Chanel.
Running Commentary as I watch.
Right in the middle of crucial mid game battle. 2 powerful units of White are restrained from development/attack.
1. W Knight taking the pawn at 6:06sec seems the be the worse move of the whole game..
2. Cause both the white knight n Queen are restricted by the black bishop ….
3. W knight can’t take black bishop cuz it’s protecting the queen..
My 2 cents worth ..
Continuing to watch…
Iam from Azerbajian.Analysis so good!
Thanks!
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
@8:12sec wonder what Magnus would play if W Knight to E4!!?? Cuz that’s a free development move to white as B Bishop can’t take W knight.
Is a computer aided imaginary battle between Morphy and Capablanca a possibility? That would be the series for me!
White's first 10 moves looks like how Magnus used to play. I wonder if this was due to a Norwegian style of chess or if it was Agdestein's influence.
Agdestain's development was so freaking weak in that game: just his queen developed while Magnus had practically all of his pieces out... it kind felt like Agdestain handed Magnus that game.
What would have gone wrong for white if Ka2 after a3?
Magnus was only 16
I'm only fans of all great grandmasters..😊
My only negative feedback on your videos is the quality of audio, it's so low. Only the headphone users can hear you, but for a speaker user like me, it's very annoying that I have to turn my speakers to the max and I can still barely hear you.
Sound is fine. It’s you buddy.
I have no problem with the audio. Must be on your end.
Need to get you some real speakers instead of those ones you got from the flea market.
@@wingwang007 Oh we have a butthurt here. Do you think I've only watched this video? Other videos are much louder.
Okay, two people here saying it’s fine also pal. How you explain that Mr. Bose audio?
This game is the most embarrassing and awkward (for Agdestein) GM game I have EVER seen! He played the opening worse than my Great Grandmother who didn't even know how the pieces move, and did not date Steinitz or Morphy in her hayday. I think even she could have beat him without any trouble.
Do you want us to laugh?????????
Stop!!!
Was your grandmother Vera Menchik?
