Machine knitting a reversible hat with a removable pompom on LK150 - minimalist style

The video shows how I machine knit a simple, minimal, reversible hat with a removable pompom on an LK150 knitting machine. It can be easily knitted by hand but machine knitting is faster. I showed the average adult size and older kids' size stitch/row count in the video. Since the knitted fabric is very flexible, it fits different sizes easily. It's always a good idea to knit a swatch first to see if you like it.
There are some similar style hats with interchangeable pompoms on the Anthropologie's website this winter. You can just use a safety pin or stitch marker as a pin to hold them together. Use dark neutral yarns for a male hat.
