Also - don’t let the people who gave you **** about the bushcraft shelter get to you… They suck, and we’re just big kids at heart. Don’t let the negativity influence you. I loved it, thought it was fun, and it’s YOUR property. Enjoy the ride.
I figured out your gag when you said the nerds wife digs you! 😅 Then Chewie showing up eliminated all doubt! The place is so nice that it looks like a movie set.
You had me going for a while on the "private property". Consider yourself fortunate to have 13 acres of beauty to utilize as you see fit. I rather enjoyed the bushcraft videos as it lends itself to the self-reliant vibe of adventure riding.
The most useful video I watched from moto camp nerd is when he showcased all the sleeping bags that he has to offer , and sets them out side by side to show the different sizes in comparison to one another, and explains the differences. And he also showed how each one fit inside of his panniers. That was a very useful video. I wish you guys would do an updated version of that for the tents, sleeping pads, and if there are any new sleeping bags. It really helps people determine how much space they will be taking up on their bike, and makes the choices a bit easier.
KLX300... excellent! Ultralight moto camping... excellent! I like to use my hammock as a camp chair to save that weight and packed bulk. Instead of a table, I carry a poly mailer with the bottom cut open. I unfold it and place it gray side down on the ground and use the white top side to organize my cooking stuff. Ultralight FTW! That tent, sleeping pad and quilt look very nice!

Hello from Australia! A lot of the camping gear I own, I bought after seeing you use it - I consider you my personal camping gear vetter. But I've been using a flextail inflator for about 18 months now that I got off of one of their early kickstarters; it's great, it blows up my sleeping pad, and has an integrated light that's perfect for inside the tent. I see they've started coming out with Thermacell style insect repellers, too. Great little company.
Dork, thanks for making these videos and allowing us to live vicariously through you. I feel like I’m camping right next to you when I watch these vids.
Great video. I’m with Duck Fan, those red beers are the best ever. You have no self control drinking them. Great looking property too. Thank you for sharing.
Hey Ben, that was pretty good, wonderful property really cool and having the rental dog named chewy was awesome. The gear was awesome. It looked like duck fan had a lot of fun. Thanks. Looking forward to the next video.
Sweet location dude, the fern covered forest floor is awesome! They call those tomato juice/beer combos Redraws in Texas where I went to college, girls like them because it dilutes the taste of the beer, and they don't get as tipsy and end up going home with some Dork. Thanks!
I liked it, pressed like too. It was pretty obvious though. As to what I learned to know about you watching your channel for years, I do not think you would break a pretty obvious no tresspass sign. But when you started to unpack and throw things around you it was pretty obvious this was not a real stealth camping as one would be more organized to be able to haul out of there quickly. Good show. And I would like to see more from this place. Also like bushcraft. Cheers from a Swede in Mexico
Nice property, and awesome camp spot! The humor was not lost either With those trees you could set a hammock or hanging tent easily. I myself am looking for a compact elevated tent to try out, something like a Tentsile, or an Amok Draumr system. But it comes down to pack size to fit on my DRZ that I am most concerned about. Great video nonetheless.
1. I am incredibly slow on the uptake. It took me until about minute 10 to clock. Tbh I'm impressed with myself I didn't leave a sanctimonious comment before I got it. 😂 2. I like how yer mate camps. I drink those occasionally too, only slightly less posh (mine are just ice, tommy juice, cheap cooking lager and I use Henderson's relish as it has more boot than worcestershire sauce.)
Literally ate a package of the Johnsonville jalapeno cheese brats by myself every week for the last year and a half while living in Texas. Most of the time, cut up and cooked in Bushes Baked Beans. I did not die from that diet.
Well you are a really lucky bunny to have that space around your home and I wish I could have similar jealous but hey ho great vid alas I camp kitchen sink and all but I base camp and at my age comfort is king all the best 👍👍👍

Like the Star Wars shirt while you're camping on Endor
Classic Dork adventure! This is why I started watching your channel.
re: tent site selection, once you lay out your ground sheet, lay down on it before putting up the tent, to see if you'll be comfy
Great idea. Learn something new everyday
Simply the best camp packing video ever. Watched it 3 times. Keep them coming.
Gonna be checking out some of that gear. Also the gag worked pretty good, was cheesy fun.

So jealous of that land! What a great spot to do shakedown runs
Glad to see some camping. looks like a great spot.
This was really fun. You gave us a few clues, but I wasn't sure until Chewy, the "wild dog of the North" showed up and took over the campsite....
One (tiny) trick I learned for multiday camp:
roll tent up in tyvek, essentially a tent burrito. Seems to take up less space, and slightly quicker!
I enjoyed the "secret stealth camping " on your own property but presenting it as some old grumpy man's private spot. Fun!
Very fun vid. I didn't know it was your property until 40% through the vid. I Love Bushcraft stuff! I'll have to find that video.
Run the Tyvek ground sheet through 2-3 cycles of your washing machine, cold water, no soap/detergent. It will become soft and almost silent.
And, sorry I didn’t mention it, you won’t lose any of the durability of the sheet. It will pack smaller, too.
This is the content I subscribed for long ago! Glad you guys had fun. That property owner is a dork in the forest.
Red eye was my grandma’s favorite way to drink beer, thanks for the memories.😊
Got the joke. No explanation needed. Love your "tubes" Dork 👍👍
