- Iyanu Child of Wonder has been delayed to 2025 after initially being given a 2023 release window. Why does this keep happening to so many Cartoon Network shows?
Just blame WBD for this, they are trying kill the channel.

I think that's the plan there mad that kids don't watch cable anymore and don't get high ratings like they used to. So ever since 2016 theyve been planning on purposely slowly killing the network to completely replace it with adult swim. Warner Bros didn't delay this lion forge entertainment did the production behind the series they want to start working on season 2 right away so that we can watch both seasons back to back Warner Brothers did not make this call

With shows being postponed to later years and/or moved to AS, it feels like WBD doesn't want CN to have a future.
Now that is just wrong, cartoon network deserve to be treated, because right now there is a deep rock bottom, and all we need right now it's not give hope for this channel they need to find a way to get CN back on top with a promising fresh start to bring viewers back in order to prove that live TV is popular again.

CN is not going to close 🙄 leaving aside the paranoia of this channel, CN is moving everything to its next building, but it is still interesting to see how people are slicing their heads with mental straws

@@JarodTheUnreal It's the same situation we had a few years ago in 2008/2011 with strikes and Hollywood heads falling and Warner was no exception, so if you think this CN era is irregular, you don't know anything.

To save the network they need to push back Adult Swim to 9pm, 10pm or 11pm so that the Total Drama Island reboot can air new episodes at 7pm or 8pm.
They have to premiere news shows on their first release window and stay that way.
But the problem is that Checkered Past is still there and it's not going to happen cause thanks to the ratings from last year Adult Swim has been increasing ratings.

Why would they do that? It will get lower ratings if Adult Swim gets pushed back by CN. The reason for Adult Swim's take over is because they actually listens to fans and would air something that fans want unlike CN.

@@nicktheben10guy I have no idea at the moment, man! That's what I'm trying to figure out right now, bro! But I don't like this at all one bit, though! I almost feel that new MeTV Toons channel is gonna replace them soon and maybe even Boomerang, too! But I just hope that that doesn't happen 'cause I still both Cartoon Network and Boomerang as well, they're both near and dear to me and they've both done so much for the animation industry and I couldn't thank them enough for that! I don't want them to go anywhere! I can't envision what a world would be like without them around! That'd be horrible! So hopefully they stay, but this is getting ridiculous! I can't believe that this is happening! And it needs stop now!
I could see these chances happening.
1. The show is going to get released in other countries and will not premiere in the US for a long while, also being released on illegal pirating websites, like TDI.
2. The show will just get cancelled entirely and we will never be able to see it, seeing as WB Discovery is also in debt.
3. The show will move to another platform like Netflix or Prime Video.
4. The show will just get delayed another year.
5. The show actually will premiere in 2025 but there may be limited marketing and advertising for it.
Also fun fact, I was watching some old Cartoon Network bumpers from the powerhouse era before I watched this video and watching those bumpers just made me realize that Cartoon Network had so much variety and an incessant amount of cartoons. All the Scooby Doo Series at the time, Animaniacs, Looney Tunes, Totally Spies, Hamtaro, Tiny Toons Adventures, Zoids, all the cartoon cartoons and the list goes on almost never-ending. Especially how they put a lot of effort into the bumpers as well. Now look at Cartoon Network today. Its really just WB Discovery's meddling at this point because the network has great variety currently.

If I had to guess why these delays are happening, the company is either being too busy with itself or just lazy.

As someone in contact with various individuals behind the scenes of Iyanu, a bit of clarification needs to be made. To answer the question, the series is currently in production and has had some problems with its overseas studio partners. Some segments were done with an illegal studio based in North Korea, which is forbidden under current US laws, which the initial studio didn't know was happening at the time. I know, an outsource studio outsourced to another outsource studio. It's madness. Iyanu is NOT a production from Cartoon Network Studios but rather a third-party company, Lion Forge Animation, and what's happening with the series is completely out of Cartoon Network and WBD's hands. Also, there had NEVER been any press release from Cartoon Network or MAX about the series' premiere date outside of the initial 2022 announcement aside from various animation news social media accounts erroneously claiming various release dates without any official source backing it up. Also, the series is aimed towards and marketed to children, and if Cartoon Network moves it to the Adult Swim block, that's a breach of contract. It's not being written off. Two cycles of 13 episodes will be made with more currently in development.
TL;DR Production delays, not CN/MAX, are the reasons Iyanu is coming in 2025.
I'm thinking it's because of the strikes and it was supposed to come out this year probably but the strike went on way longer then expected

At this point [Adult Swim] is the new Cartoon Network while regular CN tho is the main channel now it’s technically a day time block (Heck, even their website have been downsized and haven’t had a schedule link since mid 2010s). MeTV Toons is the new Boomerang. While regular Boomerang idk what to say about it.

streaming killed cartoon channels, I think the only way to change that is to make exclusive content for the channels that cannot be found on streaming so people either have to watch the channel or watch on a pirate cartoon website, or just have the channel on streaming and give it a good content/schedule because people are having trouble in choosing what to watch.

Yeah definitely boomerang killed themselves a lot sooner than cartoon Network and now boomerang is completely dead with the new MeTV cartoon network is dying because of streaming but then streaming is becoming just as expensive as cable so more people might switch back to cable

I've been hearing rumors about Regular Show and Steven Universe coming back with revivals. I'm hoping for the same with Craig of the Creek, Victor and Valentino, Infinity Train, Elliott from Earth, and Jessica's Big Little World with revivals. Even Gumball is also coming back with revivals.
Let's hope that the rumor is real because right now Hanna barbera studios Europe must find new showrunners for Elliott from earth for a promising season 2. This is the only show that I'm interested to see if can make a comeback return to Cartoon network.
Lame. Revivals are lame new shows with some quality would be better off.

Cartoon network needs to work better because i love the channel i would hate to see it become fully adult swim because I'm unaployed 20 year old have nothing to do besides making beats uploaded on to UA-cam with goku as pfp no one won't discover one because i have 3 on private so i can slowly leak them out i can't work because i got vehicle to go to work on time but besides me not working physically i stay home whatch tv of cartoons that I like to see new ones I was hope they get things in order in there work place
