Pretty much everything NRK TV touches is gold, production-wise, but this concert is amazing even by their standards. It's the most perfectly recorded concert I've ever seen, from the visuals, to the lighting, to the editing, to the mixing, etc. And, of course, the performance from everyone involved, obviously starting with Aurora, is absolutely 100% spot-on. It's just pure magic from the start of the concert to the finish.
The peerless combination of Aurora's stellar talent and the amazing production skills of the technicians at Norwegian broadcaster NRK. The Nidarosdomen concert is an artistic masterpiece of the highest possible quality in every facet of the performances and production. Next, arm yourself with a box of tissues and watch "Through The Eyes Of A Child" from this concert, it is Aurora's pinnacle.
This whole concert is AMAZING and well worth watching ! I think the acoustics produced by the stone walls of the cathedral and the positioning of the stage seems to enhance the ethereal quality of Aurora's voice ( if that's even possible ! ) . Individual microphones for the choir is a masterstroke as it negates the dynamism of their voices and enables them to blend with rather than overpower her voice . She truly is a unique talent !
Yes. hat's off to the audio engineer / engineers for the great and balanced sound at this live concert. Hat's off as well the video production crew. The whole concert is amazing. I hope you react to more. Thanks.
NRK TV is the national Norway tv and they are incredible, the mastering of this concert is a masterpiece. The cathedral is made of stone, 1000yrs old (+/-) and they mixed perfectly all the instruments, the choire, the organe, the band and Aurora.
What a wonderful reaction !! Aurora is brilliant and surrounds herself with all the right people who bring out the very best in her. Looking forward to your next Aurora reaction!
She is very emotionally attached to her songs (she calls them her children). She has said that singing in English instead of her native tongue helps her distance herself a little so that she does not become too overwhelmed emotionally to sing the song. Great reaction, I love how much you realize how exceptional she is, thanks! Also, you should do this whole venue, one song at a time, it is the epitome of perfection.
Nidarosdomen (kneedaros domen ?🙃) is the cathedral of Trondheim, Norway (Nidaros is the old name of Trondheim). The whole concert is an absolute masterpiece. Because of my own tastes, a part of its songs has another version I love even more, most of the time in acoustic set up. But despite that, I have to admit that everytime I watch a song from this concert, I'm simply caught from begining to end, mesmerized, spellbound, every time... You can be sure that if you decide to do the whole thing, even one by one, nobody will complain. But keep in mind that, as magnificent as it can be, it's still only one of her many musical facets. To think that she has not been taught how to sing or how to make music... this artist is truly special, far beyond simply singing songs. Anyway, thanks for this nice reaction to Aurora, this musical fontain of gushing emotions.🙂👍
Hello, GINX 🙂 Great reaction! Like so many have told you already, this whole concert is a pure masterpiece in every possible way, and one that you shouldn't miss. It doesn't get any better IMO. Maybe you'll find an equal somewhere, but not BETTER. Love from Norway ♥♥♥♥♥ Btw, can you imagine that she wrote most of this at age 9 ? She finished the song a few years later.
From the Aurora aksnes wiki. "Aurora wrote part of "Lucky", including the chorus, when she was only 9 years old. The rest of the song was finished when she was 18.She has also mentioned finishing it at age 12.
That was a intrigue reaction. Thank you. For me this performance is the best ever being made. I love everything about it. I usually go blah-blah-blah mode but you said it's so beautifuly so i shut up. Definitely subscribe you for this AURORA journey only sit back and enjoy yourself to this remarcable being.❤❤
Trouble finding the words? A little emotional? Dont worry, happens a lot when Aurora is around 😊 I had seen "everything" at youtube and other places when I went to Bergen to see her live for the first time, I knew what she was going to be like, what she was going to be like. Oh my I was wrong.... She was better! She talked to us like she was performing to her friends, she told she has torn her dress a bit so we might see her underwear, and described it's color 😅. Then she performed a song that made me forget to breath..... When she performed "running with the Wolves" her eyes and dance was so wild she almost scared me.... She was magical!! Now I have seen her 5 times, and she surprise me every time!
NRK produces some of the best sounding live events full stop. If you're just starting your adventure with Aurora, you better strap in because this women changes lives in a very real way. She's a spiritual, loving human that the world needs more of.
@celinel9750 writes from another reaction to her "Lucky" song..."This is her anti-suicide song, "before I make the offering" as I give up, I remember all the ppl I've seen and places that I've been... I FEEL the light" that is for me me the most powerful line, not only seeing the light but feeling the light, from inside, the spark that make you choose to stay."
Every time she performs a song it's slighty different. Obviously this venue kinda dictated the sound and feel of this particular set. The audio is outstanding. Thought you would appreciate that? The only bad thing about this recording is that they cut away from Aurora too often, sometimes at "key" moments? I just love watching her as she goes to a different world while performing. I saw one recording where she literally forgot about the audience being there, until they applauded and then she snapped back into the room.
Hum, must be Runaway from the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert. The official viedo shows it from far, but there's another which if focused on her face at that moment: AURORA - Nobel Peace Prize Concert | 2015: (end of Runaway) ua-cam.com/video/7HphPEqRS78/v-deo.html

I can’t sing a lick but when I first discover her the control of her voice was also a big wow moment for me also😊
9 years old Aurora wrote this.
She wrote the lyrics at 15 Im almost sure ive heard her say this but she had the melody in her head and 11

Jeff Castanon on the Stratele studios channel, reacting to the same video also praised the sound engineers.

This song may be based on a book titled Veronica wants to die
She has read the book more then once
Love Aurora ❤ true artist

Yep you probably right. They kinda merge after a while? She's something special.
And Ginx forgets?
