Thank you for the tutorial. Thumbs up!
Hi, came across 4510 model which seams to be exactly like yours. Is the the armature suppose to come out easily? I cant get it out , Ive pulled and pulled but it wont budge. I really would appreciate some feedback , Thank you.

Hi there. Assuming you’ve removed the collar that sits between the casing and the fan, the armature should be freed up a bit. If I recall correctly the back side of the armature also has a bearing and that bearing seats into the back of the casing. A few taps with a rubber mallet on the back outside of the casing should help unseat that bearing. Careful! My fell straight out of the casing but it sounds like yours is a bit more stubborn. Also, did you remove the screw caps and remove the magnets on the springs (can’t recall the term for these)?

When pulling the armature, was the rear bearing housed in a metal ring, or did the rear baring just sit in direct contact of the plastic housing. I believe the rear of the armature is wobbling inside the housing. Wondering if the bearing is just loose fitting in the plastic seat, or if my motor is missing a parts.

My setup was a friction fit. The bearing sat tightly on the armature shaft. I seated it using a deep socket and rubber mallet.

Where or who did you go through with ordering the bearings? Thank you for the video.

I got my bearings from eReplacementparts.com. Also Sears has the same table saw. I found a bushing from them.

Ereplacementparts.com has a pretty extensive inventory of parts for this saw.
