I was a Bradley gunner for a very little bit, and they trained me... surprisingly little xD Like it was almost nothing. A few buttons and knobs here and there, but for the most part I didn't know what half the shit in the turret was for. Always funny to me when I learn more about this stuff from video game youtubers than my actual time in the service (which I fucking *hated* )

@@doomerdave2891 I mean to be fair it wasn't really supposed to be my job (13F), but still. Fun fact, I had to do all of my gunnery tables in a single day a few days before we went out to qual. Was there from like 8 or 9 in the morning till around midnight
On top of that, it was my first time ever doing the sim, the controls are hyper-sensitive, and overall I was passing the majority of the scenarios on the first or second try. Yet I still had some dick fuck of an SFC saying how shit I was and how much better he was at it than me. Like yeah you're better, you've doing this for like 5 more years than me cause you can't be good at anything else. Piss off -_-
Ah nice, as a 68w I wasn't supposed to use the RWS, but when I got qualed to drive it, they were like.. fuck it, hey Doc this is how you this. By the time I left Ft. Carson I know the stryker more than my own damn car hahaha

in GHPC where two things to use the backup sight for
1 if you rangefinder and ballistic computer are destroyed and 2 making Shure you're gun is clear when going over a hill. outside of that it is pointless to use

Stadia sights are cool and all, but why are Squad's MBT rangefinders capped at 1500m?
I've looked in the game files, its not a technical limitation, some IFVs can range upwards of 3000m. Nope, Squad's tanks are all capped at 1500m by OWI, because f*ck us gunners right?
im guessing balancing for gameplay dynamic from years ago. ATGM range is also capped at 1500m
@@pn0170 Well the atgm’s range is about 1500m anyways so that makes sense but tanks can shoot as far as they want with range indicators going all the away up to 4000m
@@bombvoyagedid9119 ATGMs used to be able to shoot way further, the only reason why it only goes 1500m right now is because it was manually capped for balancing in an update. That’s why I was assuming the same for the rangefinder.
