Watching What If is also key to enjoying it to the fullest. The 2nd after credit scene was a nod to Sam Raimi earlier horror movies. It's Bruce Campbell which is the star of his Evil Dead, etc and in one of those movies his hand is possessed.
it took aspects from the 1st . expanded on those .. then added some new shxt that was never explained even if you have seen everything marvel. then added even more shxt and just blew minds .. loved every minute of this movie and can't wait to see it again

The film was good. Seeing WandaVision, the Loki series, and Spider-Man: No Way Home are great recommended viewings before seeing Doctor Strange: 2. It was a fun film that was hyped up by audiences who came in with unrealistic expectations. It is a smaller piece to the greater MCU phase 4 story, and moves it forward. The cameos were fire. It moves Strange's personal story arc further, along with Wandas. I would give it a 4 out of 5. No film is perfect, generally.
I would give this film 4.5/5. I loved the horror elements, the connection the WandaVision, the villain was absolutely SOLID, and I screamed during the rollout (if you know, you know). It was a solid, rewatchable film.
Sabrina was dead on with her comment about how terrifying it would be if super villains were coming at you in real life. Some folks in the film got clapped in the most gruesome of ways...especially for the MCU. Invincible also showcased well what can happen if a super is coming for your head. Count on a closed casket funeral.
Hahaha Tony gave it 3 saxes and a sax with out the neck. Good deal. I would agree. I like it because it's a Marvel movie. To me though at the beginning it felt like you can tell they used a lot of green screen. Like you can see them doing all of those hand motions before taking it to post. Scarlet Witch did not seem all that scary to me. She made herself look like she's the biggest baddest person out there but she was just obsessive but not scary. Like if you are this big bad witch, I want to see you do some damage.
It is very important that you watch Wandavision and the What If series prior to watching this movie. I don't want to be Spoilers McGee in the comments, but Wanda/Scarlett Witch was definitely with the shits and wanted all the smoke. We definitely need a spoiler review, there's so much lore building that happened in this movie.

Xochitl Gomez has neither of those qualities. I'm not saying this lightly but we know that a certain percentage of the people were never going to accept America with open arms due to her & her Mothers being LGBTQ+ so they MAY HAVE WELL CAST HER CORRECTLY! 😤 (Yelling at who cast her, not you.)
The influx of new characters has me worried in the casting department, especially when recasting the X-Men. Nationally, we'll probably never get a Russian actor to play Colossus, and who knows if they'll fumble the bag with Storm like they did in the 2000's. Even with Dr. Doom around the corner, we can tell from who they got to play the East European Scarlet Witch that we'll likely never see an East European play Doom
I think you need to watch the Marvels “What If?” Peggy Carter episodes as well on Disney+. Watching those explains a lot as well. Next time invite me on the show! Lol I watch ALL of it! It’s a setup movie to branch and allow Marvel to release and start writing for SO many more films. One word “REBOOT!!!”
I know that the WandaVision storyline is important to see this movie but, I also think the What If? animated series gives a little background to some of the movie plot. For instance, Agent Carter as Captain America, Rambeau as Captain Marvel, and there was even an episode on how dark Dr. Strange can get. So, I would recommend checking out What If? along with WandaVision
I liked it but it should have been called the Scarlet Witch. However Multiverse Of Madness= MOM. I did not know the character was originally Afro Latina. They did highlight her powers …she just didn’t know how to use her powers. She has the ability to go to other universes. That is why at the end she was at the temple learning how to use her power like Strange. I also found out this movie was supposed to come out first before Spider-Man. And yes look at WandaVision.
13:02 so fun fact is that yes, Sam Raimi hated the character Venom for his "lack of humanity" and actually didn't even want to include him in the 3rd movie; he originally wanted it to have Vulture and Sandman. But Avi Arad (the president of Marvel Studios at the time) encouraged him to include Venom "for the fans".

The horror aspect was perfect for this joint...I mean what's more terrifying than being aware there are millions of alternate universes out there and now the gates are wide open for anything to come through? The Brightburn movie put the horror in the forefront, they killed it too.
6/10 Movie, great visuals, decent story, but too much plot armor and too much taking away from Dr. Strange. Not a true Dr. Strange movie, should had been called The Madness of Wanda. 5/10 is also fair. Gets a 6/10 from me because of the visuals and cameos. Best Spiderman movies-No Way Home, Spiderverse, Spiderman 2, and then Far From Home
The action was good and special effects were dope . But story was trash and the tie in with wandavision made no sense at all didn't love the horror aspect it was unneeded overall give it a 2 and a half out 5

Once they finally got to the other univere where mordo was sorcerer Supreme it was kinda corny the movie was solid tho n marvel does wat marvel does hype u up for the next movie but the 2nd half was weak like the Jumpstart n how gruesome deaths were how all future marvel movies should b I agree 3.5 saxophone out of 10
That's when they changed up the directors. They really should've stuck with one and got rid of America. Too much unnecessary mess I'm with you on that 3.5 very middle of the road

The horror aspect was perfect for this joint...I mean what's more terrifying than being aware there are millions of alternate universes out there and now the gates are wide open for anything to come through? The Brightburn movie put the horror in the forefront, they killed it too.

6/10 Movie, great visuals, decent story, but too much plot armor and too much taking away from Dr. Strange. Not a true Dr. Strange movie, should had been called The Madness of Wanda. 5/10 is also fair. Gets a 6/10 from me because of the visuals and cameos. Best Spiderman movies-No Way Home, Spiderverse, Spiderman 2, and then Far From Home

The action was good and special effects were dope . But story was trash and the tie in with wandavision made no sense at all didn't love the horror aspect it was unneeded overall give it a 2 and a half out 5

He said if you didnt watch wandavision you lost, but i didnt and dont intend to but i followed and got all the bits and pieces and was able to follow along and adored it. Didnt care for the new superhero. Loved the "four" even though 👀 what happened happened but. Baby 4🎷
