+NumarkVideo I think it could be a cool idea to have the samples used in the video linked in the description, and encourage us DJs viewing this to add our own flare to the performance and post a video of ourselves doing a similar set with the same samples as a video response. That would be really sweet -StrafeinBacon
Please give us a solution for static noise coming out of numark mixtrack pro 3 .....as soon as it's connected through USB there's static noise non stop.......many are facing this!
dj fantastical I WILL CHECK IT OUT SOON,THX MAN, I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT THE PIONEER AERO XDJ LATELY,I AM THINKING OF IT MY NEXT MIXR,IT HAS'NT GOT SPINNING JOGS,BUT YOU ONLY NEED TO PLUG UR SPEAKERS IN 2 IT,THE REST IS WIRELESS !! CHECK "IT' OUT ! M
newbanbaby I know but it didn't have a tonearm or other common sense things. Ultimately the question I asked is moot because the whole thing of DJing is dead, it doesn't take any skill now and the computer matches and mixes and tone-corrects and auto beat-synchs everything so all you have to do is be able to pick out songs to play. I'm a relic.
Belle vidéo , j'ai deux questions est ce que le controlleur est compatible avec virtual dj 8 ? Si oui est ce que c'est gratuit ? Et est ce que il faut obligatoirement payer serato pour connecter la platine ou on peut le télécharger ?
+Kimon Govender Virtual DJ, Traktor or Serato. Serato is kind of expensive and Traktor seems to be the better imo. Virtual DJ is never updated and is basically for messing about. Give Traktor a try, you can get the demo for 30 days..
No actual mixing. Just press buttons and hitting the sync button. This isn't djing, djing takes skill and practice, this is just utter bullshit! 'Dj's' nowadays can't mix, they either play an mp3 or play an mp3.
scratching, rhythmic drumming..this is to showcase the controller. Not necessarily mixing. Go watch the DMC championships if you want to see real dj skills
+Declan Duff I have had turntables (vinyl) for 21 years, I know how to DJ, properly. I know how to mix records and match beats without the need for software doing it for me. 2 turntables and a mixer..this is real DJing. You are probably a Millennial that is basically clueless in DJing, think you know how, with buttons and DJ software. I would say you're the 'dumb fuck'.
+Craig "Waah a skill I had to learn is obsolete so I'm gonna hate on people for not choosing to learn it themselves" Guess what? I'm one of those 'millennials' and I DID learn how to beat mach. The 5% the computer gets it wrong is once every 40 songs, that's not worth it, so I learnt. Do you need to? Fuck no. As a Photographer this argument reminds me of the 'manual vs auto mode' argument, and it essentially boils down to people who know a certain skill looking down on people doing the same work as them without that skill. Never, ever has someone who isn't one of those snobby DJs or Photographers discounted or disregarded a good mix or photo due to the use of computer automation, all you should care about is what's coming out of the output channels and into the speakers. And top tip dude, if you have 21 years of DJing experience, why not share it? Why not be the change you want to see in this community? We do have a fairly decent lack of tutorials and videos online, so if you can find something you know that no one else might, share it.
+Dazt4r haha no joke I'm twelve and make my own music it's a shame there are lots of talented people everybody in this chat seems like one (most) still if you get someone who has vinyl to mix on a controller they will find it weird if you give a house dj vinyl it won't work it's all about matching your genre and having the crowd is you have one on your side mixing plays a massive side but not all the time
I luv and have only used Numark turntables and controllers since I started spinning in 2001 and they just keep getting better!

what software would you use with this and would it work efficiently with the MacBook Pro?
+Kimon Govender Virtual DJ, Traktor or Serato. Serato is kind of expensive and Traktor seems to be the better imo. Virtual DJ is never updated and is basically for messing about. Give Traktor a try, you can get the demo for 30 days..
