The "russian internet" part is so relatable, it was hella fun too. Also, you get crits for capturing intel "lore-wise" because it contained secret blueprints, weak points map etc, so your team has the advantage until the info becomes outdated. But mechanically it's just to reward the team for doing objective with free kills, pretty dumb ballance decision IMO.

Also if the plan was for there to be a reward for capping by getting an intel advantage that eventually wears out then shouldn't the intel just not respawn for like 30 seconds after the kritz ends, because how much new intel is created in 10 seconds worthy of 10 seconds of crits

You can use the gunslinger in the next widowmaker video just for the 25 HP bonus
2:20 because it's a casual arena-like map with few friendlies or tryhards that has a really good layout for simple casual play. I'm not map design expert but it really does seem to have just enough complexity for really good casual play while still having a high skill ceiling and not always making the objective the main focus but still a good enough target for those who want to cap it.
Also good tip with the Widowmaker as a scout warmup thing it is a fun weapon
My problem with Harvest is how easy it is to hit your head on the skybox. If they raised the skybox, it would be perfect.
few tryhards? have you even played harvest? it's one of the easiest maps to get spawn camped on. I personally hate KoTH because it's either, you get spawn camped, or the enemy gets spawn camped. There is no in-between. one good player can rip your team apart.

I mean it only makes sense. Give a player that is basically a meatshotting God a weapon that uses your most important resource, (metal), as firepower and he'll essentially never run out of ammo. Like Lazy once said about the little engie man's kit, "I have a SHOTGUN!", Give vorobey a pistol side arm and literally every single one of his ranges is covered with unlimited ammo from the shotty with his nice hitmarkers. At that point who needs sentries?

widowmaker is basically a regular shotgun with an infinite clip if you can land your shots (plus that it does 10% more damage on any target focused by your sentrygun)

I tried to use this thing for normal turtle engi gaming on upward and i was pleasantly surprised how well that worked. If you have good aim you don't even need dispensers or ammo packs. Next round i got demolished though.

as an occasional engineer main i LOVE. LOVE LOVE LOVE running around with my widowmaker and pistol. (maybe a cheeky gunslinger mini sentry) especially on harvest. i put my mini in their little health shed and enjoy the angry trolldiers and demoknights that somehow can't take out a tiny sentry that's weak as hell.

now i did a search and the widowmaker isn't just a Deus Ex Machina promotional item (i guess it is too) but the widowmaker is a bit inconsistent, cuz the model is based on a Automatic Shotgun called SRM 1212, and that shotgun was made in 2009, and TF2 takes place in the 80's to 90's
The amby is so much better then people say so, It is definitely on par with stock, Its the classic trade of “Less reliable DOT for burst damage.” I tried it out recently and after a couple days of casual gunspy, I can hit the headshots every once and a while, and the ability to just “Pop *delay* Pop” the pyro who just started chasing you is just underutilized. There’s a reason the top-level spies use it all the time, if well used, It has the single-target damage of a rocket launcher. (Bit slower but the burst 100 damage is a great tool) And since all the spies (including me before trying amby) use the letranger, it’s unexpected for the guy you just saw to whip out a strap and pop you for 102 in the head.

Sometimes I meet the people, who playing, for example on 2Fort, as a powerful classes or battle engineer and in almost end, they switching classes to a Spy, to make us think what he's a super Spy-main with 150 kills for 1 hour, this is literally impossible, only if enemy team is full of bad snipers, what don't even realise what Spy can disguise...

I've seen that happen a few times, the bots are somehow unkickable. 6 vs 2 votes is enough to just say "not enough votes" and then when the bot or some player casts a vote on a legitimate player, the 6 vs 2 votes is enough...
The widowmaker will always remind me of the gun design for Borderlands 1. I don't know why but that gun looks like it'd fit seamlessly.
