Jamaica history is fascinating. Why is this not included in the tourist guide, this is Jamaica history very fascinating, not about resorts and beaches, which is the best in the world but this is historically

Dell Hudson tourism destroys monuments. Have you seen the Great Wall of China, the pyramids, etc. The local people no longer have access. The Jamaican Government is already selling everything worth having to foreigners.

Expat Lifestyle yeah they won't promote that as far as marking it as a heritage site, they tryna hide Jamaica dark history, remember u know! all the national hero go up again British Empire, and best believe who still run Jamaica! Britain Ok, so anything has to do with slavery and certain site u don't really hear anything about that, think about it who gonna fund that place, even if the government wanna do it they other party most likely be again it, like oh the money could spend in other important areas, then they don't understand that, that place could play for it self if they do it right visitors from all over would come there...

Jamaicans are so polite when a stranger approach them and ask a question ,I notice this in a lot of other videos with other bloggers . Jamaica is so beautiful the mountains , rivers and beaches even the sound of the water running in the background the crowing of the roosters 🐔 and to think God gave us for free all we have to do is take care of it . Big up Magic man

These places should be restored and be placed on maps as points of interest other countries have their culture,National heroes their life and places of interest taught and in some cases its in the schools curriculum throughout the world but there's nothing for Jamaica and our Heroines even though slavery was a big thing in Jamaica,Jamaica isnt spoken about in schools and the places of interest forgotten about not sure if it's still the same but my daughter is 11 and I've had to educate her on Jamaican history so it looks like nothing much has changed. More needs to be done to save places like this and our heroes and also get Jamaican history implermented into the schools curriculum and taught throughout the world like every other country does.Otherwise Jamaica may find itself in the history books as "Jamaica the forgotten land" bless up Alex keep up the good work one bit of advice let the locals finish when there talking to you😂🙏🏽

Great Video! A lot of information about St. Thomas’ history. St. Thomas and Portland have some of the oldest history of Jamaica. I am originally from Portland Jamaica, St. Margret’s Bay. My grandfather was from Moore town, and was very proud of the whole Maroon history. I can not say I am proud of all their history because they were responsible for capturing Bogle and turning him to the British. The original maroons were astonishing brave, and pioneering people, but a lot of their descendants were not people to admire.

Me is a portlander ,used to live in sunning hill st.thomas . Blessup yourself u r doing a good job,i always tell people say if u don't know your history,u don't know where we're coming from, where we at and where we're going. What always fascinate about St Thomas is when u r driving on d main road and u look to the hills,it's like a Forrest but when u drive go their u see a whole community, school, station, clinic and business
