Could everyone just stop saying that Marilyn Monroe was murdered...maybe she was...I even think she was...but it is not the official cause of death so I didn't write it. C'mon already...I've watched 3 documentary's saying Courtney Love killed Kurt Cobain, but it is not the official cause of death....I am not going with theories here....stop it already!!! I am just deleting your comments...
Sorry you had to go through a lot of unnecessary debates.

When will Part 16 come out? I hope some day
I thought everyone knew it was the KENNEDIES !
@@armandoaldana8543 The Kennedys...and murder is not the official cause of death.

So many died at age 27, and so many from plane crashes, overdoses and suicide. This is truly heartbreaking!!
There's a 27 club for a reason
I was a teenager when the pace of death began to accelerate in the late '60s, primarily because of drug OD. Very sad.
I feel so grateful to be given the opportunity to listen to all the great 🌟 performances on UA-cam.💕
OMG That must have been so much work! I’m mind blown that you went through recording all the songs, the fact that you know of this many musicians who died. And the fact that you made like a lot of these videos is just crazy (in a good way) I would never have the patience to make something like this. Well done!
Awesome listening to this amazing list of great musicians & artists, sad to read about the way alot of them died & so young
Im 95 years old
And i do remember these songs
It was real memories and my wife is 98 and she was a big fan of the orlons
R.I.P to all of them
and R.I.P yo all the great memories
You posted your comment one year ago. I hope the two of you are still with us!!! Best wishes and peaceful days for you.
Thank you for all the hard work and effort it took to put this together. It's amazing.
i have watched all the episodes from one to 16.....cant wait for part 17 to come out....GREAT HARD WORK TO COMPILE THIS
I'm saddened to find out so many talented musician died by drug overdose, shot, ambushed, & suicide. May they all Rest in Peace.
Well, this stopped me in my tracks,I was just surfing the net and this appeared so 1/2 hour later Im going onto part 2.What a fantastic job you have done,it is very much appreciated
What a fantastic compilation!! Thank you for your hard work! 🙏🙏
This is . . Class act. Well done!
Perfect balance of samples, length of samples, song choices, excellent points during the songs.
The facts are just what is needed presented clearly, and are readable.
No annoying unnecessary details to powerful through.
Clips are long enough to get a good idea of the singer, but not tiresomely long to lose interest.
Most interesting and wholly enjoyable.
Simply professional
Thank you
Thank you so much :)
I wish I'd said that!!! LOL 😆!! Unfortunately, I didn't say it, but I agree with it 100%! Thank you for making this incredible video ❤. Lots of love from Amanda in Melbourne, Australia ❤ xox ❤ 💖 💕 ♥ 💙 💗 ❤ 💖 💕 ♥ 💙 💗 ❤ 💖 💕 ♥
Nicely put together! Thank you for this.
Rest in peace sister Rosetta tharpe 1915 - 1973 aged 58
Fly high Rosetta 😢🕊️
So many great musicians gone too soon. A lot of them died because of problems with alcohol and drugs. Notice that a lot of them are in the "27" club. Thank you for the informative lists.RIP 🙏
Wonderfully done.. thank you 👏🏾
Thanks for bringing back these musical memories - Bunny Gibson - American Bandstand Dancer
Well Apple Music just took another huge bite of my account. I’d forgotten about some of these and the memories just flooded back with each clip. So I went shopping. Thank you.
There's 15 more parts (at the moment) that may put you into Bankruptcy...hehe :)
This is amazing and very enlightening…although so sad, so many died so young and so many overdoses, plane crashes…makes you so sad to watch their gifts gone so soon.such an incredible labor of love! Thank you!
I really enjoyed this. It made me feel something beautiful. Also, I thought what a shame. I wish I could have been like them. Gone but not forgotten, instead of forgotten but not Gone.
I'm nearly 74 years old and have played guitar since age 12. I loved all these wonderful people. God Bless them all.
@happypsychobunny1 thank you for taking the time to do this series of videos. I appreciate all of the research! There are other videos out there but they are short, don’t have the artist’s demographics, and don’t have a video of them playing. TL;DR version: other YT vids have names and date of death, but your videos are much more complete. There is nothing else like this on UA-cam. Thank you for the time you spent doing these volumes!!
Thank you so much :)
This was excellent!
Aside from the obvious work that went into this compilation...
I really appreciated that our host somehow found live footage of nearly every musician in this video -- scenes I have never before seen.
And on top of that, he used the sound from that footage (unlike nearly every other uploader that replaces the real sound with the studio version of the song).
Great job!
By the way, I would love to watch most of those videos, in their entirety. But they are either not uploaded anywhere that I could find them, or the few that are uploaded have their audio erased and replaced with the studio recording -- making it appear as if the artists are lip syncing, when they are not lip syncing.
I would appreciate if anyone could point me to where I could see these videos, the way they were meant to be seen and meant to be heard.
Thank you.
I agree
Well said!
Absolutely well said 👏 👍 👌 ❤❤❤
Thank you for putting a face to the artists we lost.
OMG! That was so beautiful and touching; it made me cry. Thank you! Love this song! 💗
2022, Such horrific losses, after all these years it still brings tears to my eyes.
It's absolutely heart breaking, that we lost all of these talented singers and entertainers. I think alot of them, were under too much pressure, and couldn't handle what they were trying to accomplish. May Each One Of Them Rest In Peace. 💖Amen 🌈💓
Thank you for the time and effort you put into this
Very well done! All that talent and some left us way to soon!
Thanks a lot for this awesome work!
Hardly the best adjective (now so overused as to become meaningless)
- and yes, it was an impressive compilation.
I am watching this with tears streaming down my face. May they all rest in peace.
Nice job thanks for posting, many memories.
So many talented musicians rip all. great videos by the way
Thank you...so many great artists!
Watched nearly the whole thing, and the main difference with them and the average Joe or Jane is that the cause of death was frequently drug overdoses, suicides, and getting shot to death, not counting plane crashes because the odds were much higher for them. Man this was a walk thru Sad Park...makes us come to terms with our mortality.
Remember the marque scroll across the bottom of the TV:
Elvis has died...
Thought had sad my Mom was gonna be. Her and my Pops had just seen him in Mobile, AL
I remember the day Elvis died too...I was about 9 yrs old and I had so many of his records... he was my favourite...I remember crying with my Mom
I can't get over how YOUNG they practically all were....
Excellent compilation. Thanks a lot 🌟🎼🎶🎵💕
awesome compilation - and heart touching O,O
Thank you for sharing this, all of those lived out too soon.
These stars might be gone, but their music and songs will live on forever.
Mind blowing, fantastic I ran the whole gammet of emotions watching this. You do a fantastic job with these videos.
Cool!!! How many iconic and talented artists....Robert Johnson, Freddie King and all the others.
Sweet and magnetic Marilyn Monroe, she is truly timeless!
So many young Stars who have made their mark and lived so long.... These songs have been entrenched and ingrained into our minds.
Thanks for putting this series together .I hope utube doesn’t make u take it down because of copyright like the other utuber who had exactly same series and videos up
Thank you for all the hard work! I’ve heard of many of these; some of them I had not.
The “Fine and Mellow” clip you have for Billie Holliday is from a show called The Sound of Jazz, which was aired on CBS in the 1950’s. I think it is here on UA-cam.
wow thank you so much thumbs up you rock.
Great video. Thanks.
Thank you for this
Thank you. It was very interesting. Must have taken some time. I appreciate it. Thank uou again.
Great collection. Geez Louise. Unreal. Still shakin my head. Whew.
Nicely put together.
What we were shown is what defined entertainment in its golden age. Every one of them were/are identified as actors/actresses, most of them performing diverse roles during their careers, but all of them were accomplished in diverse entertaining disciplines, singing, dancing, etc …Totally enjoyable.much more entertaining than the singular effort of removal of one’s clothes.
Great video mate
Thanks :)
Deeply saddening that most deaths on this list were self-inflicted and happened at very young ages.
And a few more members of the 27 club
Yeah, drugs and alcohol did them in. This is not a healthy medium.
28 years old
Great Video!! But sooo very sad RIP to all xx
the great work that must have gone to put together this video together is unimaginable. truly any man good at his work will stand before kings. cant wait till part 17
You did a great job. I don't know why there are barely any comments.
Thanks so much :) I was thinking the same thing myself....
Maybe because most of us are too stunned by the bad news of so many untimely deaths.
Seems like most of these greats died very young or I'm their prime of their careers. Some were things that we usually don't die from today. Others were alot of tragic accidents. And some were victims of crime and brutally killed. It was a miracle that they even got to have these moments of Fame and left behind such awesome music and songs and performances on videotape! America sure has a strong history of talented musicians!
Everyday is a wonderful day ❣️❣️❣️ to watch past legends, this clip bought back so many beautiful memories. Didn't know so many passed away so young and the sad different ways they Left 😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 Us. So much beautiful 💖💖💖😍😍😍😍😍😍💖💖 music

@Roccimo You don't need to update these... other musicians that pass will be in other parts. Just concentrate on the musicians that I wrote about, but more so , The Songs.
I feel sad my be in the other side i will see them again, I'm 74 and I love that all music
Excellent Job. TY
I appreciate the list but here's one from Dec 1954 - in some cases Johnny Ace was the first RNR tragedy #RIP ua-cam.com/video/rahTKCeBZ2M/v-deo.html
How about Johnny Ace?
I get a few tears in my eyes, occasionally, silly, I know, when I read these days of the death of a sports player,
who I really admired, especially someone I actually saw live at a stadium. Even if they weren't nationally well known. I can understand people feeling the same about musicians/singers.
Wow. Man. I thought I knew them. Man what a surprise! Excellent presentation and when and how they died. Most we really young
Many great performers here...Some I never heard of....Darla from the Little Rascals (at 26:36 ) hit me the most because I loved her as a kid watching her on that show....It's pretty safe to say that most professional musicians do not lead long healthy lives....Just think how awful sleeping in hotel rooms and eating restaurant slop for months at a time would be....
Thank You!!!!!! TEARS ARE RUNNING!!! THANK YOU!!! A.😪
this was just ao wonderful....it made me laugh and cry at the same time. thank you
A list of great artists. I specially had to search for the Miami Showband, what a terrible way to die :(
Fantastic collection
So many died prematurely. I remember them all. Now in my 88th year, my REME workshop number in Hong Kong. Bap sat bap, in Cantonese. So much good music, ain’t it great to have UA-cam ?
This vid series is very well done
Woww..I didn't realize how many talented people took their lives by suicide or over dose... Or left by way of a violent ending..... So sad ..by today's standards they would have been considered musical icons by their peers and fans... Ty for posting and rest in peace to all those mentioned...their musical contributions shall live on untill the end of time itself.......
If you live hard and fast, you die hard and fast. It's a lesson for us.
They all are great artists. I'm 70 and can remember (almost) all of them. I'll never forget OTIS.
Good good work, Sir.
QUE BONITO VIDEO EL QUE HAS ELABORADO, SOBRE TODO MUY BIEN EXPLICADO CON LA RESEÑA Y SEÑALANDO EN LAS IMAGENES A LOS CANTANTES QUE FALLECIERON. ES UN HOMENAJE A TODOS AQUELLOS ARTISTAS QUE PARTIERON.
Super singers gone too yong most of them ....good work doing this list thanks
Adding their music makes it personal. Thanks
It does...and recalls memories :)
We've lost too many fabulously talented artists.......& today's just don't even compare.....auto-tune doesn't even help
What an awful destiny for most of the singers, if they were still alive, most would be more than 70 80 years old nowadays
Absolutely stunning.
Huge talents and most gone so young. We are missing so much of what could have been.
I`m glad plane travel is a lot safer nowadays
Commercial plane travel has gotten safer over the years. But private plane travel is still dependent on the skill of the pilot, the weather and some other factors.
Quite often the pilot pushed to fly by the passengers even when he/she doesn’t want to!
@@eddalrymple4309 that’s nonsense. The celebrity sitting in the back has no control over the pilot, it’s their job to make sure everything is safe and good to go that’s what you got into the job FOR. If some moron who knows nothing about planes is telling you to fly in a storm and you know it’s dangerous, it’s still your fault if you take off. That person isn’t a pilot why are you listening to them? That’s just not true at all that artists are like sitting there in a storm forcing the pilot to fly when they don’t want is that what happened to Aaliyah? Literally drugged and unconscious thrown onto a plane and died before waking up? Did she force the pilot to go? Because I don’t think her family sees it that way
Just fentanyl now
Have you watched any episodes of Mayday, Air Disaster??
If you are generally concerned that I missed an artist you like, fine, but if you just saw someone on a list and never heard of them before and just want to say I missed someone...let it go.
Wow ... the number of artists here who lived as long as age 60 were probably less than fifteen. I gave this video a thumb's-up for being so informative, for all the research & coming up with all these video clips ... but it is one one of the saddest videos I've seen in a while. I loved this music.
According to my recollection, Bobby Bloom 15:29 didn't shoot himself -- I believe he was murdered (over a woman), and the murderer was never found nor convicted. Forgive me if I was misinformed. Either way, so tragic. Montego Bay was such a joyful song.
I thought he accidentally shot himself while cleaning his gun
I was born in the 50s and grew up in the 60s and 70s boy did I ever get the best of music today’s music really sucks that’s why I listen to my 60s and 70s and a bit of the 80s. All of these bring back a lot of memories, but I’ll say one thing a lot of them just didn’t care or take care of their selves they died from drug overdose is lung cancer, pulmonary problems, why because they didn’t take care of themselves that’s too bad we lost a lot of great people. I enjoy these videos. Thank you very much.👍🏼👍🏼☮️🎸😎
This is absolutely brilliant!!! What a labor of love!! This list is so complete, you could actually use it to draw some sociological conclusions. For example, compare the number of Black artists who died as a result of violence compared to White artists. I'm going to have to listen to this a few more times. Excellent song choice, excellent clip samples. Just fantastic.
There definitely was a lot of violence towards black artists, but you can't really compare them, as some of the deaths weren't because of race. I mean, some of the people who killed them were black themselves.
Actually if you look closely in general most of them, independently of their skin color, pass away from overdose, car crashes, plane crashes and cancer😳, most of them of lung cancer probably because regular cigarettes… in those times smoke was the norm…
@@xqp5503 a lot of them smoked cigarettes because it made their voice deeper and more rich,, etc.
What is this obsession with race? Does it make a difference if all the white musicians died from overdoses and crashes and black musicians have a mix of murder, poor healthcare and crashes? What would that lesson be exactly? I don't understand the point of this.
@@metalmonkey6262 - your name explains it all
They’re all remembered for the gifts they had❤️
So many musicians died at the age of 27. So sad😭
Kale [EZ] it is called the 27 club
I’m gonna be 27 at the end of 2021.
Tabi Jozwick yes indeed
Quite a lot topped themselves
So many died in Plane crashes
i love the memories this brings back.
Thanks 4 the info. Now I know
Sad most died so young in their 20tys and lots of plane ✈️ crashes never reaching their 30tys 🙏rest in peace ☮️
The scary thing about the 60s stars is how many died young of drugs or violence.
Or plane crashes! Scary
Or car crashes
We are so beautiful and so vulnerable to be human to play music 🎶🕯️✌️
what scares me the most, I'm old enough to remember when most of these deaths happen
Well produced
Three observations: 1) It’s apparent that this industry does not keep its artists out of the communities from whence they came i.e., stabbing 2). Age 24 appears to be the critical age. 3) Avoid charter airplanes.
ABSOLUTELY STRIKING
Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper were killed on the exact day my dad was born.
That's cool!
If you were a musician in the 50’s getting on a plane…… 😳🙆🏼♀️ wtf ?!?!
The jets were still in development at the time…
@@arturoromero951 yes exactly! I think I would’ve stayed traveling on their tour buses until planes were a bit safer!! 😳😳😳🙆🏼♀️ I still get nervous flying!!! Guess when it’s your time to go it’s your time to go though!! But that’s like signing up to go on bezos or Elon’s shuttle right now…….. that would be a big no thank you 🤣🤣
I understand that in Buddy Holly’s case, he was exhausted, the bus may have kept breaking down, and he wanted a chance to rest and do some laundry.
@@arturoromero951 I guess so; we were in the post WW2 era and had fought two more wars (Korea & Vietnam) by the time they boarded these musicians boarded the planes.
yeah or get stoned 👀
Wonderful and Heartbreaking
Bobby Fuller died on july 18th 1966, not july 16th. Great tribute to these people. 💖💓💜🌟Thank you.
Wow so many amazing talented people crossed over so young,
May they all RIP ❤️🙏😇
Very interesting
What a waste of life and talent...beautiful people ...drugs will keep you moving but going nowhere.... Thanks for their memories.
