Just see for yourself directly when they go for patrolling or check them in news videos or UA-cam videos. They mostly use the steel helmets and sometimes the indigenously designed Patka helmet, of course some do use the "Kevlar helmets" but they are only given to a select few like the special forces or a few battalions in high risk areas.

i remember when i was child around 8-9yo, i used to have a grenade toy, the body and all parts were made of aluminium or similar, it was very strong and the system actually worked, you could pull the pin and the whole thing get detached to the grenade. then you throw it and pretend it exploded. The testing was to see if putting a helmet on a grenade thrown near you would decrease its intensity. Because it would be nice if the helmet was sturdy enough to do that, and many soldier who just use their own bodies to cover the grenades to save other soldiers would survive and go back to their families.

For everyone saying that safety equipment is 'kaput' or bad, understand the purpose of it. Ballistic helmets are not meant to contain the blasts of grenades. They are meant to protect the wearer from fragments of a nearby grenade blast. More realistic test would be keeping the grenade and helmet together close and then see whether the fragments go through. In this situation as in the video, all helmets would just blow up as there is a lot of force when grenade bursts. That helmet is much lighter than that concrete block which was place on top of it and yet it went up like a rocket. Take this only for entertainment. Cheers.

For everyone saying that safety equipment is 'kaput' or bad, understand the purpose of it. Ballistic helmets are not meant to contain the blasts of grenades. They are meant to protect the wearer from fragments of a nearby grenade blast.
More realistic test would be keeping the grenade and helmet together close and then see whether the fragments go through.
In this situation as in the video, all helmets would just blow up as there is a lot of force when grenade bursts. That helmet is much lighter than that concrete block which was place on top of it and yet it went up like a rocket.
Take this only for entertainment.
