Drove past this farm last weekend got to see all that big green, I would also like to thank this family for always being there for my aunt and uncle in their time need.
Love watching those Deere tractors at work. And by the way, you hard working farmers don't hear this enough Thank You! Thank you for all your hard work, and providing the food we eat. Most people now days have no idea how the food gets to the store.
My tiny brain was stunned by the slomo part .... totally unexpected ... and totally delightful ... of the 24000 views currently, mine are about 100 of them ... more please!
I had a idea that was your tractor the farm has no need of a tractor that age. I am not belittling the farm at all but, love seeing you getting out to play with your tractor. I hope you had a good day operating your tractor. God Bless.
Wow BTP! Most people collect row crop tractors. You start out with articulated tractors. Go big or stay home, eh? Congratulations on the Deere! That's going to be some great future videos between it and your IH!
Go time!! Man, spring is great!! (Even though it never really got cold this winter here.) We went no-till some 25+ years ago, so I must confess that tillage doesn't really excite me, but still, that's some serious machinery. And a serious collection of bins. And the 8850 is a cool sight. :)
That there is some impressive equipment! I would buy both tractors just because they are cool. You know buy tractors first and then find a farm big enough to work them on. Tractors are really really cool.
The family I do a lot of work just rebuilt a John deer with the V-8. He has 2 WA-17 and 1 WA-14. He has a 730 gas burner. If it is a special John Deer he has it. He is not a farmer he is one of the main owners of Sloan Implements.
I really like that 8850, especially because it still have its original engine. That sure is one of my favourite 4wd tractors. 😎 Congrats to you about get that beautiful tractor!
As soon as I film some Kinze re-powers I will. I have a little footage of a Kinze Re-Power 8850 here on the channel but it is pulling another 4wd out of the mud.
@@bigtractorpower I have a friend by Tower City ND who has a 8650 and just got a 8850 Kinze repower and just loves them. I know there are usually a bunch by Iowa where Kinze use to repower them. I was told he sold the rights to the repower to a company in Michigan. Not sure if that's true.
I was just thinking as I was watching a video if we’re going to see you and your international out there and then all the sudden there you are and you’re driving a John Deere now that’s awesome man
I put 4400 hours on our 1st 8850. We rebuilt the motor, as started on the next go round. Due to a weird family situation, my dumb nephew was allowed to sell the tractor. It had new triples on it. I'm dying!
Go time for those that farm in the rock piles, we in clay soil areas won't start getting at it till mid to late April given how much rain we are getting.
This is a red clay soil. It had several inches on it Monday when the tornado system passed by that his Nashville 70 miles to the south. This field is tiled. With 70 degree days and wind it dried up.
While the 8850 is very cool tractor, be careful if you work it near or at it's power limit, the v8 tends to explode and they are not cheap to get going again.
I am a fan of that 8850. I Keep up on any videos of it working or resting. Can you imagine what a great video a pull off between that V-8 Deere tractor and the IH V-8 you have would be?
Great video. The two tractors you own are my top two favorite tractors. I do like the new tractors out there today, but the old irons are my favorite. I'd like to own a few tractors like yours, but really don't have any use as of now let alone a place to store them. I guess I have to settle for garden tractors. I do own a john deere 430 and looking for a cub cadet 982. Anyway thanks for taking the time to make these videos.
The 8850 is the cattlac. I almost bought one until I found out why they were so cheap. If I was a bit more well off at the time I would have took a chance.
JOHN DEERE 8850 V8 is not in farming simulator 17 and 19 for time being,JOHN DEERE 9620R is in fs 17 and fs 19.Drove him many times.Enjoy driving JOHN DEERE 9620R. Congratulations on JOHN DEERE 8850 V8.
I was wondering why they had an JD 8850, I thought they only had new/newer tractors, then and the end we find out it was your JD 8850. Congrats on your new tractor.
Awesome equipment, very cool shots, and you’re right, it is exciting to think of the first days in the field! I’m curious why with such nice ground, limited residue and it’s drying out early, that you are tilling it. Everybody makes their own choices that work for their conditions and I was interested to learn if the farm does any no-till? I’m new to the channel and realize you may have covered this in the past. Looking forward to more planting videos.
I think there was a killdeer nest there. Oh well, with dynasty farms and industrial agriculture there are bound to be casualties. Sure must be fun though playing in the dirt with hundreds of horsepower.
Seeing all that green is absolutely beautiful
Drove past this farm last weekend got to see all that big green, I would also like to thank this family for always being there for my aunt and uncle in their time need.

Love watching those Deere tractors at work. And by the way, you hard working farmers don't hear this enough Thank You! Thank you for all your hard work, and providing the food we eat. Most people now days have no idea how the food gets to the store.
It feels great too be back in the field again!
That slowmo part at 5:50 was pure delight. Please do more in future videos. Also, thanks for sharing your tractor with us. She looks beautiful.
Yes, that was my favorite part as well. Need to get more slow motion of the other cultivator too, please.
Nice 8850 BTP 👍
The super-slo-mo action at 5:50 was great.I hope the guys at Horsch equipment were watching this video.
My tiny brain was stunned by the slomo part .... totally unexpected ... and totally delightful ... of the 24000 views currently, mine are about 100 of them ... more please!
😁👍👍. Thank you.
I like the slowmo action on the ripper.....nice
Excellent machine high speed stuff is awesome
Had a an 81 1/16 toy John Deere, put thousands of hours on it. Was “overhauled” twice. Last overhaul used wheels from a Tonka loader
I still have my 1/16th and 1/64th scale 8850 tractors that were gifts on Christmas Day 1988
Very nice to see yours in the field
I paused the video to go over to my display case and check out my 1/64th 8850.
That is a fantastic plow.
I had a idea that was your tractor the farm has no need of a tractor that age. I am not belittling the farm at all but, love seeing you getting out to play with your tractor.
I hope you had a good day operating your tractor.
God Bless.
Loved the super slo mo!!!
Love the slow motion
The slow motion is badass!!!
Wow BTP! Most people collect row crop tractors. You start out with articulated tractors. Go big or stay home, eh? Congratulations on the Deere! That's going to be some great future videos between it and your IH!
WOW! You bought an 8850! That’s awesome!
Very nice John Deere. Looking forward to seeing it again.
The 8850 is a neat classic. I look forward to running it in the field on tillage.
Go time!! Man, spring is great!! (Even though it never really got cold this winter here.)
We went no-till some 25+ years ago, so I must confess that tillage doesn't really excite me, but still, that's some serious machinery. And a serious collection of bins.

Congrats on your second tractor jason and its the right colour this time🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍
Great slow motion shot of the chisel plow.
The family I do a lot of work just rebuilt a John deer with the V-8. He has 2 WA-17 and 1 WA-14. He has a 730 gas burner. If it is a special John Deer he has it. He is not a farmer he is one of the main owners of Sloan Implements.
I enjoyed seeing that vintage JD,... the fact it's yours is a real buzz Thanks Tony
Congrats on the 8850 Jason. You're going to have fun for sure.

Me too. 😁👍👍
i love bigtractorpower
Great video
You could do a vlog on Kinze Refits on 40 &50 series JD tractors. I like how a good share of 8850's came with 3 point hitches and PTO's
Very Nice BTP, Love the slow motion action shot!

Horsch make some nice equipment. I feel they are to overlooked in the American market.
I put 4400 hours on our 1st 8850. We rebuilt the motor, as started on the next go round. Due to a weird family situation, my dumb nephew was allowed to sell the tractor. It had new triples on it. I'm dying!
Like the slow motion, a lot.

Awesome new tractor.
I will look forward to see you're videos of your john deer and Ihc. At work!

Lots of plowing and crop dusting in eastern Arkansas too! Saw a Stieger Pather too!
Great video! I cant wait to get back out there
I love farming and tractors so much I would almost pay a farmer to let me operate his JOHN DEERE 9620R tractor for a day.
This was so great, you have a nice JD, not know you have that one too, thanks for sharing
The rain must have not been as bad there as it was here
It poured. These fields were under water Monday. Sun and wind dried them up. Lots of tile out there.
Nice fleet!!!
Man them jokers do a nice job
Wow it seems like yesterday that they were still trying to get the corn in during the snow.
B S by us it pretty much was, some other farms in our area we’re still harvesting in early January. | Central Wisconsin by the way
Y’all should get the John Deere quad track
This farm has one. They run a 920RX. You can see it in this video ua-cam.com/video/Md-rxsbcNpU/v-deo.html

Awesome clip at 5:53
Congrats on the new tractor. Your V-8 is a hair bigger than mine, lol. Mine’ an 1155 Massey.
The 1155 is a very cool tractor. 😁👍👍
I am a fan of that 8850. I Keep up on any videos of it working or resting. Can you imagine what a great video a pull off between that V-8 Deere tractor and the IH V-8 you have would be?
tim gear Deere would win for one key reason: weight
Horsch is really gaining traction in North America everyone seams to like those jokers in my area also
Bonito trabajo. .inviten a trabajar. .Saludos desde México
Yo se operar tractores. .donde vivo trabajo en la agricultura y he hido a Canadá
Jason ,have they already put the Anhydrous on this field
No they have not. One farm I film at applies NH3 and then. 10 days latter runs a field cultivator over it. No issues at all.
Great video. The two tractors you own are my top two favorite tractors. I do like the new tractors out there today, but the old irons are my favorite. You need a jd universal autotrac kit on that 8850
The 8850 is the cattlac. I almost bought one until I found out why they were so cheap. If I was a bit more well off at the time I would have took a chance.
Still snowing in east canada. Crazy to think tillage is starting
Awesome Video!!
this joker deserves an oscar :)

What is the purpose of the smaller one? Work up the controlled traffic paths?
Must be raining a bit more less than 100 miles south. Seems like its been raining pretty much every day
It’s rained everyday since this was filmed.
