Hey! 👋❤️😊 I never thought to see if you had YT content! 😅 You and your hair are beautiful.🥰 You’re so creative with buns!! I gave up looking spectacular on every outing after I had my daughter 5 years ago. Then I had my third child 16 months ago, and it’s a chore to look like I used to! 😂BUT, I’m keeping my skin supple, my hair is growing and thriving, so when I DO pop out…I’m going to pop out!! 😂💖 Thanks for sharing all the different hairstyles!
@@A_Wilson Thanks, and you're welcome! I know it's hard with kids (congrats on the newest little one☺️), but based on what I've seen from mamas online and IRL, keeping it simple in-between special occasions really helps!
I strongly believe if you have a gap in your teeth, you're part of the elite and exclusive pretty girl club! I LOOOOOOVE YOUR GAP ESTHER! (haha I know that's random but I just love how much it complements the rest of your facial features!) Your hair straight is giving glamorous! My biggest takeaways with this video is we set unrealistic expectations and that is WHAT causes the disappointment. For me, looking presentable is all I need. And sometimes, when I look my most basic (LOL), I still get complimented or still feel good because I'm wearing a nice perfume, or I love my outfit. Natural hair DEFINITELY suits my features. I will NEVEr go back to relaxers LOL, but if I straighten my hair, I will more than likely get some hair extension to help fill it out some. I LOVE the biblical references! It really does set you free if you allow your spirit to RECEIVE it. Sometimes, I'll have days where I feel I look like TRRAASSH LOL, but all of a sudden, my husband will say something about how pretty I am...and if he doesn't, I will tell myself "God loves you and He designed you so beautifully" and just like that, I feel so much better. It takes time to get to that point but it's so worth it when it happens. THANK YOU for the shoutout!!! I appreciate you so much Esther, and I love how connected so many of us natural hair youtubers are becoming. It's so fun to just share each other's content.
@@CoilyCode Haha, thanks, it's entirely self inflicted though 😭😅 I stubbornly sucked my thumb until about 6/7 despite being repeatedly told as a child that doing so would mess my teeth up. By the time I realised the adults in my life knew better than me, it was too late. I'm not really interested in fixing it though, since I've learned how to whistle through it quite well, and I'd be sad to lose that. 😁 Haha, I know what you mean, my current press is almost three weeks old and getting greasy and limp and I wore it out the other day and still got complimented. I would suggest, instead of getting extensions, check out Justin Hickox's channel; he has a lot of good advice to make fine, thin hair to look full when heat styling! ❤️❤️ I love that your hubby is so appreciative of you and your natural hair! Yes, I think biblical framing is so important for everything; I'm always trying to remind myself to give thanks for the hair I've been given. ☺️ You're welcome! I know a lot of people feel like they've been let down by various aspects of the natural hair community, but I believe that there will always be a place for positive, uplifting content surrounding our beautiful curls. :)
