Tutorial for what? 😂
are you sure i can learn this hehe
Sounds good 👍
@@shaneilellis9832 An easy search: BIBLE + FREEMASONRY, through which lies and truth becomes easy listed.
So far i have listed 28 lies and 28 truth.
Have you started to dig? What have you found?
What do you know about masonry club?
About the evil rulers of this world, masons, what you know about them?
So the song is complete? Did you post the full thing so I can listen!
I’ve always said mathrock is just emo in odd meter, but indie works, too.
@@thespcrewroy8716 bruh what emo kids are huge try hards on guitar. They shoehorn tapping and alternate tunings into everything
can confirm playing emo is a struggle@@MoonshineH
These days it isn’t even in an odd meter. Most math rock in the last 5 years (especially internet clickbait math rock) is just 4/4 guitar music that happens to use tapping. EVH was the original math rock
@@SeanStephensen 👆👆👆
@@thespcrewroy8716 You sir don't know what you're talking about
I love this song
This just sounds like pop music.
although music is subjective and opinion based, your opinion is trash. you didnt need to leave a comment so foul about other peoples music taste just because all you listen to is 1970s metal and pop. maybe refrain from posting terrible opinions again or, quit the internet entirley.
love the guitar bro ❤
Beautiful
0:02 What type of melody is the first two bars called? I’ve heard a lot of songs use this sort of guitar melody
Do you mean the procussive strums at the start of the track?
Because that is inherently a rhythm element and not a melody as there is no pitch to it.
@@Tr1s yeah, I hear this same sort of guitar pattern in a lot of alt/indie rock
@@theplaceholder3it's really just rhythmical slides on bass strings nothing much
where is the math?
I don't understand, sounds like you're playing in 4/4. How is this math rock?
Those extra strums while tapping kept me guessing
haha i think what you’re hearing is the looping of the first 4 beats
ohhhh yeah! I didn't even notice you looped the first 4 beats. Great job, bro. Sick tune.@@wyo
Emo mathrock: midwest emo
Pop/hiphop mathrock: polyphia
Indie mathrock: chon, covet, toe
Metal mathrock: animals as leaders
Nailed it
Noise mathrock: hella, lightning bolt
I like this
Math rock is basically a framework, which can be applied to any genre, and polyphia proved it
they arent mathrock tho
Read again
I too know the same😅
@@cthulu4774they employ methods of it
so what genre are math rock songs lmao
@@pietart3596 could be all genres. Math rock style involves complex beat structures which create unique harmony. It's super innovative😊
0:11 the way the break sounded was eargasmic
cute megana mio pfp
this is all in 4/4, why is this math rock ? Same for polyphia, why people think it is math rock when all of their song are straight 4/4 ? (same for guitarist like Ichika Nito) I think Tim Henson himself said they don't play math rock.
Isn't the "math" part of math rock about the use of different time signatures and multiple tempo changes ?
its the way the melody is played along with the percussion on the guitar
Everything you post has such a good stereo spread. Can you show us what you are doing ?
If the Patreon included mixing tutorials and stuff like that I would definitely hop on
i usually just double track with the next best take because it’s sounds awesome lol. all the sounds here are recorded during filming/recorded audio manipulated in ableton (to make the guitar strums more like ‘drums’ for example)
i love mixing so would love to do a vid or something in patreon detailing my approach
@@wyo 100% becoming a patreon if you do something like that. I always find my guitar tones cool by themselves but don't know what to do in a full mixor stuff like double tracking. I can mix vsts well but it just seems impossible with guitar
ozone imager goes crazy
I hope to write good music like this in the future. Big inspiration 👍
Math rock guitar players are just piano wannabes🥴
😂
How. I can imagine songs like this but I can't translate it into the guitar.
Spend more time learning songs by ear and only using tab either to "check your work" or if you're completely stuck on a part. You don't have to bang your head against the wall for weeks on end, but try for maybe 10-20 minutes before looking it up. If you stick with it for a few weeks you'll find your ears improve.
extended major chords (?

Wyatt Otitさんを応援しています!🎉
idk man when i think mathrock im thinking Invalids, Floral, Snooze, the mfs that are using ridiculous time signature and polyrhythms for the sake of just being insane. This is very good but i feel its a lot more simplified then some of the really great mathrock stuff
i can’t handle how good this is
When did prog become math rock? This is more sped up emo then indie. It lacks the art school vibe
Can't wait for you to blow up and make it big. I'm along for the journey with you, bro!
Tf is math about this at all it is that tappy upbeat kinda thing but this is not math rock
indie is just music
Isn't math rock indie just Peach Pit and Mom Jeans. hahaha (I love both these bands so)
Jokes aside, incredible riff!! I love it
Those bands are indie rock/midwest emo. Check out bands like TTNG and Delta Sleep for that mathy stuff
I need a full version of these🔥🔥🔥
This is more like midwest emo tho....math rock is not this simple
cuz you're still playing in 4
threehearts - dream
ДАДАД
Imagine when you realize is is just prog... Fuckign zen G.
I don't hear the math rock but it's nice
Math rock is indie played by people who really know how to play (just kidding)
wow, the look of the guitar is amazing. evokes some nostalgia in my provincial Russian heart, haha
What tuning is this?
DAC#F#BD I think
そのボディの見た目でハイテクな音出すギャップが良い...
Bruh I’m in love with ur style
no, it isn't, but this is a dope little tune you got here
MAKE INTO FULL SONG….please
sounds cool, but has nothing to do with math rock.
I NEED AN EXTENDED VERSION OF THIS 😮
Dude, what’s that guitar? It’s stunning
my best friend jiffy can do this way vetter
I like the distressing on your guitar. How'd you get that?
fella sped up not only the video but also time itself
3 ways to get it like that:
1: Play it for years
2: Pay someone to relic it
3: Go to a gravel parking lot and just drag it on the ground
It's an Allen Eden Guitars body has the same wear pattern as their nitro body's they used to sell
Totally Agree, based on Indie.
It's beautiful!
This is like the indie version of a The Fall of Troy song. Nice to hear this sound outside of the hardcore context.
The real question is how many duplicate tracks .
also love the stereo processing u do after
math rock? it’s just 4/4 the whole time lol
what tuning is this?
Time Signatures:
Math Rock:
Often employs complex, unconventional time signatures like 7/8, 11/8, or alternating time signatures within a song.
Indie Rock:
Generally uses standard time signatures like 4/4 or 3/4, though some indie bands experiment with odd time signatures as well.
Harmonies:
Math Rock:
Utilizes dissonant and complex harmonies. Chords can be extended and altered to create a distinctive, angular sound.
Indie Rock:
Typically features simpler, more traditional harmonies. Chords are often major or minor, with occasional use of sevenths or other extensions.
Scales:
Math Rock:
Frequently explores non-traditional scales and modes, such as whole tone, diminished, or exotic scales, to add to the complexity.
Indie Rock:
More likely to stick with conventional scales like major and minor. Some indie bands might incorporate modes like Dorian or Mixolydian for a unique flavor.
Tunings:
Math Rock:
Often experiments with alternative tunings to achieve unique chord voicings and tonal qualities. Common tunings include drop D or even more unconventional setups.
Indie Rock:
Primarily uses standard tuning, but some bands use drop D or open tunings for certain songs.
Rhythm:
Math Rock:
Characterized by intricate and syncopated rhythms. Drummers often use polyrhythms and odd accents, creating a complex rhythmic foundation.
Indie Rock:
Typically features straightforward, steady rhythms. The drumming is more groove-oriented and supports the melody and harmony rather than standing out.
Song Structure:
Math Rock:
Often eschews traditional verse-chorus structures in favor of more through-composed forms. Songs may consist of several distinct sections with little repetition.
Indie Rock:
Generally adheres to conventional song structures like verse-chorus-verse. There is a clear and recognizable pattern that is easy to follow.
Overall Style:
Math Rock:
Emphasizes technical proficiency and complexity. Guitar work is often intricate, with tapping, fast arpeggios, and rapid changes.
Indie Rock:
Focuses more on melody, lyrics, and atmosphere. The music tends to be more accessible and emotionally driven.

The main differences is Math Rock have dose weird tempo signatures plus a quirky structure. indie rock is more pop-ish have a easier tempo and structure, guitar riffs are not so overcomplex and its more friendly with people that consume pop music. however the sonority and the music scales/tones are basically the same, Math Rock is more sophisticated and Indie Rock is more pop-friendly i will say.
from What brand is this guitar I'm really curious because i think this guitar is from vintage's guitars brand but I'm not sure about that can you tell me what brand the guitar is? because i really like your guitar
HOW IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT HOW COOL THIS IS THIS IS AMAZING YOU ARE A LITERAL GOD PLSSSSS OMGGGGFUHJENBDJCSNS
What's ,,math" about this kind of music. Classical music is the most ,,math" especially Bach, but this has nothing to do with math
No, bro, you're just playing indie math. You could play anything else and then it'd be that other genre+math
This feels more ichika nito than indie though. Started out feeling indie, then got into some more neo soul-ish chord progressions and taps
What guitar is that? I need it!
fr
definetly not an expert on this, but it looks like the LIMITED EDITION CORY WONG STRATOCASTER or another version of the fender stratocaster series.
indie isnt a genre its a category of genres and math rock could be put within that category if you didn't know about rock and roll i guess.
Did this song ever come out? Would love to hear a full version
This sounds like it belongs in the soundtrack to a Persona game.
You are incorrect, because every genre ever is actually just Goth Surf Guitar
listen to any don caballero song and you'd completely disagree
am i able to use a part of this riff for an outro in a video with full credits to you and link
What tuning is this?
Strats are only cool when you’re good like this guy.
Maths rock is EMO PROG or is math rock jazz emo who knows ?
day 2 of begging you to tell me how you recorded this
Hella in the corner wailing after looking at the title
0:22 very incubus sounding bend riff
im not good with music stuff but i think this is correct

Jujutsu kaisen

Did this track ever get put on spotify?
fire how much the partscaster run you up? cause that is heat
Naw, there is tons of 4/4 Indy.

this is so ichika nito coded
Good but not enough beeps and boops thrown in.
