Known Clive for over 40 years through sport, knew he was an avid Carp fisherman but this just opened my eyes to hear his stories and his achievements. Absolute brilliant Podcast.
Lovely bloke Clive...I worked at the same brick yard all them years ago I heard rumours of a guy that had caught a 40lb carp there 😳 blow my mind 1st time I spoke to him , A very modest man bloody good angler .....ended up working in a tackle shop for a couple of years and Clive would drop in every couple of weeks to sell us new tackle .... real gent and a bit of a legend in the west Sussex area ..... glad he has been finally given some recognition for his contribution to carp fish Well done Clive 👏
This was one of the most heartfelt fascinating Korda podcast's yet, no bs and tells it as it is, brilliant.. Even learnt a few thing's about Clive that I didn't know, and considering we chat fairly regularly at the TW shop, he never comes across as the big I am.. Hope the book sells well mate..
I love the podcasts you (Korda) provide us . Thank you guys , Simon in the past to Richard and off course Toby you are producing top quality content for us anglers and general public.
What an absolute top bloke, proper down to earth, humble and inspirational in the truest sense of the word. Has to be one of the best and Rich also played his part in the natural flow of it all. Please, please can he do a second run of his book, I can’t find it anywhere and is one missing from my shelves. Thank you and keep searching for your Bliss 🙏🙏🙏
@@krispaterson8828 Cheers fella, luckily enough I was able to get one of the last ones directly from Clive, hopefully arriving today. He also signed it to me personally, a real nice touch from a true gent. Tight lines and enjoy the book👍
Didn't know much about Clive before this, top bloke, really enjoyed this. Rich handled the difficult conversations about the drowning incident with sensitivity too. Well done all.
What a fantastic listen this one is , can't help but think it's Brick Top (Alan Ford) from the film Snatch being interviewed , proper old school angler, full respect.
I must admit that i posted my previous comment before i had watched all of the podcast so didn’t realise Clive talks about Les Quis 🤣 One of the best podcasts and so emotional. Well done Rich,Toby and Clive 👏👏👏
Clive Williams is one of fishings great characters and a top quality old school angler. I still have the dvd of Les Quis 4x4 Challenge from back in 2004 and he is pure comedy gold on it.accidentally casting his coat into the lake… 🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏
First met Clive on a trip to Les Quis many moons ago, bumped into him several times over the years, what a great guy, will never forget him.... Swans over Fulham..... ( Clive will understand this sentence., lol )
Brilliant podcast. Brought a tear to my eyes and the savay stuff was superb... well done Rich and toby.
