- Tom Stokes has been steadily building a reputation as one of the finest big carp anglers currently around today. With a string of high-profile captures, including “The Burghfield common”, “The Baby Black” and “The Brute”.
Continuing with that run of great form, his most recent capture was Farnham Flint’s largest resident at 52lbs 4oz, The Pristine Common.

Listened to Tom on the Spodcast a while back. Made a 3hr drive pass instantly. His story telling is so captivating, I felt like I was on Burghfield with him.
Love seeing your garden flourish! 🌻
Along with Carl and Alex this is the best podcast so far. Such a nice guy and his commitment is inspiring. Korda should pay the guy full time. Thankyou both I will listen to this over and over.
Up there with the best podcast you guys have done, Tom tells an awesome story, draws you in well! I only turned it on to watch 20 mins, 3 hours later, podcast complete 👍

A true angler! He has only himself to thank for all his epics catches!
Fascinating to listen to, comes across as just a really nice guy. Take my hat off to him for the level of effort and commitment hes putting into these captures. Another excellent podcast.
I love Tom.... What a guy the way he tells stories is amazing I'd love a night on the Bank listening to his stories
Great podcast. Every time I see this guy on something, he just reminds me of one of those mates that we all have, that mate that’s the super chilled one, always happy, doesn’t offend anyone and Just does his thing 😂.
One of the best ones yet👏👏
Really???
What a cool gift and a lovely guy.Great pod cast and a very nice and sensible talking man
Watched and listened to a few of Tom's things lately, seems a proper genuinely nice guy, and to achieve what he's done whilst holding down a full time job must take a shit tonne of dedication and deserves a lot of respect.
Looking forward to hearing more from him, great story-teller.
Love Tom's storytelling. "In my mind......"
Brilliant episode!
Best podcast yet, Tom is my favourite angler to follow 👌
A Great listen 👍🏻 and a fellow oxford carp baits angler 👌🏻
There’s not 5000 years of silt down there! Something’s been going on down there! Made me chuckle 😂
What a guy, loved listening to Tom. I'd say best podcast to date.
Tom is a mega angler. No thrills, just loves it and gets the job done 👍 top man

Great work, and very humble 👍👍
Great pod cast 👍 The 16 who disliked it must be bream anglers 😂
Carp is trash
A proper nice, genuine gent. This guy is Terry Hearn with a job. Would love to see what he could do as a full time angler.

Tom stokes has to be one of my favourite Anglers right now .
Really enjoyed this! Gave me ideas on how to tackle my super hard lake 👍🏻
I remember Tom fishing himley hall years ago lovely chap
I can never get in to these podcasts until now. This is brilliant. Especially when Tom me tions the secret channel on Burghfield. "No one can fish the channel...(looks at camera) no one could fish that channel" haha 😆 😜
Best one yet
Scott Lloyd and Greg Ellis would both be brilliant guests. Love the podcast!
Top angler! and a great podcast!
Great podcast 🔥🔥
amazing podcast
Great angler and story teller
1 of the best in the game
Very enjoyable podcast...proper angler....seems a decent guy...terrible case of carp fever 😁
Amazing Tom
Really enjoyed this, great podcast Tom.
One of you need to come to the castle loch and try and catch the Scotish reccond carp thats meant to be in there, in lochmaben Scotland x
Nice lad. 👍🏻
What is better I’m ill but this makes me better😂😂
Just goes to show even the greatest of anglers need luck, no pegs available, ends up in a swim he's not caught in, wanted to move and had the biggest and oldest most sought after in the lake, good darts man👌🏻
Thing is with deep lakes, while they hold their temp longer it also takes miles longer to warm up once temps av dropped really low. Big-ups to Tom tho!, Wicked angler! My opinion him n Greg are head n shoulders above the rest in their generation. Aswell as Scott Lloyd maybe. 3 wicked, young big fish hunters!
Excellent pod cast. Great angler. Shame the edit wasn’t the other way round.
Jesus mate I'm sure your not perfect either
Adventures you clearly don’t know me 😂
Imagine ordering a couch and Tom stokes shows up at ur door😂😂
Would love to see Kevin Ellis
100% defo & Terry Hearn but dunno if he would come on
Kevin needs to come on! Best content on the Tube!

Greg Ellis needs a go , I know he’s not with you guys but that would be epic
His head would explode
Darryl Davies 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Jim Shelly, Scott Lloyd, Nigel Sharpe, Terry Hearn..come on Korda make these happen would triple the viewings
Simon had an easy interview there. He could have gone home and just left Tom talking!
When was his first podcast??
His first podcast continues after the story of the 'The Pristine Common' - We felt it made sense to include that story and add it to the first podcast. Simon explains this at the start. Hope this is a little clearer now and enjoy 👍🏼
@@KordaTV literally started when the message came through 👍 cheers for the reply 👌 love the podcast
Please bring Jim Shelley into the show.
Yes!
What 3hrs of "right yeah" no thanks
Definitely Definitely Not!! 👎

Kev Ellis...
Get Derek the Don Ritchie on please.
Surely there couldn't be anyone worse to have on,him shouting his mouth off, like a fool
Them waters are destroyed..R.I.P
Lose lips sinks ships ,feel for the anglers on these waters with this publicity on these club waters ....
Yep you know, this year it’s been busy as fuck, this guy is the only person that had stated the “baby black lake” as “englefeild”
Good podcast but you cant call Shrewsbury northern🤣🤣 geography of the north is very sketchy in the carping world
Who?
His names in the title
Says blue red wire just annoying
Are you aware that "Blue" is the make of the mic stand and has nothing to do with the cable?
3 hours 30 you really do yap don’t ya
It's 2 podcasts in one ya melt
😂
@@corruptedcarpers ha what you doing here jim
@@thecarpfather5757 hahaha I'm everywhere mate
@@corruptedcarpers good watch this mate
Kn mmmmm kn
I
Not for me. So boring. Sorry. 👋
Whys he on the podcast because he caught a fish by accident cmon get chris yates, kev ellis, terry hearn or some of the old school carpers who wont be with us for much longer
🤡
I think you need to understand some of the tasks Tom has taken on. Caught be Burghfield common and a huge amount of the stock in that lake and held down a full time job. Deserves nothing but respect . I think I’m right in saying the Burghfield common, the baby black, and the pristine common are all 50+. Dont for one second think you can catch fish like these on a consistent basis by accident. He is consistent because the lad is top draw and mega dedicated. Just because you haven’t heard of the lad it doesn’t mean you can’t respect what he has done. A lot of full time anglers don’t take on the challenges this fella has. One of the best anglers out there for sure.
Anyone that can hold down a full time and tick these amazing fish off one by one should get the upmost respect, not have people moaning that they've never heard of him. I can see him getting more and more exposure the next few years. Class angler.
Kevin Ellis is only about 55
@@paulnelson7698 but chris yates etc, the original carp catchers club all passed away now but there is still a few left of the old school and i just feel this young lad should of been saved for a while :p
