Lovely Marc. Found my original plan e few month's ago. Will build my new Dandy from scratch this winter. Nice video.
its amazing how you build the model without making a templates, you just measure the formers, bulkheads etc then transfer everything on the balsa sheet. for me first part of the build is cutting out all the templates needed to cut the balsa sheets.

Well done.. It is a bit difficult to follow when it is so fast but fascinating... I noticed that you used 9gr servos? Were they satisfactory.. I am building an AMIGO III. Its plan shows standard servos. I am planning to go for 17gr ones - hence the question.
The 9g servos are doing their job perfectly. The speed is low and the forces on the rudders are small. If you feel more comfortable with bigger ones, take thoses. I don't think that weight is a problem.
Hello Marc, I'm building m'y Dandy fresh again. It was m'y first RC plane... in the 80's. About the canopy I'm a little bit lasy.. do you sell canopys ? The elektromotor pylon is a great idea.
Sorry, but I am very busy at the time and I have no material for the canopy in stock. Maybe later.

Aber wirklich schwer zu bauen is er nicht,oder? Weil hab bei mir noch nen original Bausatz (glaub ich zumindest,dass der orignial ist) rumzuliegen und bin auch grade wieder im modellfliegen drin und da wär der dandy halt ganz schön als einsteiger modell zu den verbrennermotoren
Nein, er ist ja ein Anfängerflieger.
Anspruchsvoll ist allerdings die Verwindung der Tragflächen. Fliegt auch ohne, wie meine ersten 3, mit aber deutlich besser.
