    I live in the USA. I just purchased a vango tent from the UK. It is leaps and bounds better than anything they sell here. Polycotton tent so it is so comfy. Thanks for sharing your experience with the tent.

    Great review. A feature I like is the vertical doors - you don’t have wet doors flapping their way inside the dry space like a dome tent. Oh and the tent attached to the fly if the sky is leaking when you are putting the tent up. Oh and the porch that fits 2 adults on camp chairs, riding gear, stuff, beverages...

    Great video, the two figures on the ground sheet are showing hand signals to marshal helicopters coming in. By adopting the position shown it tells the pilot whether you need him to land or not. 👍

    Lone rider have an optional two pole addon in order to support the main entrance and create a shade.
    My issue were the straps all over the floor lovely trip hazard.
    And with the glorious British weather I rarely find a camping spot as neat as your garden.

    When I was about 8 tears old, we were camping and had steel pegs shaped like yours, I too stepped on one, it left a 3/4' hole in my foot. Luckily some bandages fixed it up, but I couldn't use that foot for a week or so.

    Great review, be good to show others how ground sheet fits under sleeping area , basically undoing couple of front bottom clips of sleeping area you can run ground sheet to the back or from back end to front

    • @MotovlogUK
      @MotovlogUK  2 роки тому

      Nice one mate. The inner tent just fixes to the outer Tent via the loops but it all comes built and I haven't had any need to remove it. The sleeping area has it's own groundsheet which is part of the inner tent structure as a whole. I don't think it's removable. You don't need to fix a groundsheet. The groundsheet you see in the vid is for the outer part and can be used if needed. Thanks for watching buddy and commenting.

      Thanks mate. The Gobi looks nice but a different animal (if I'm looking at the right one). Not sure you can stand up or be able to tuck your bike in at night lol price is right though. Heavier and the pack size is bigger so wouldn't fit in my Top Box. Looks a decent tent though mate.

    Really good tent for bikers.enjoyed

  • @aberdeenaviationphotograph9311

    Great video. One of the better ones - I've watched about 5 on this tent - but none of the show how easy/hard it is to put the bike in as the whole point of this tent is to put the bike in it. Now, if you put the bike in so it will lean away from the sleeping compartment and not fall on top of you in the night, how easy is it to maneuver the bike into the bike area? I'd only buy one of these tents in order to put my bike into it so it's kind of the most important bit for me. Again, great video

    • @MotovlogUK
      @MotovlogUK  Рік тому +1

      Thank you buddy. On my next camp I’ll do a follow up vid and pop the bike in. Couldn’t do it in the garden. The doors are wide on the tent. I open the 3 outer doors when I put it in which makes it easier to move around and get off and empty the panniers. Thanks again mate

      I can ride my 1250GS Adventure in and dismount without a problem... with side and top hard panniers.

    Wonderful video-so instructive! Have you tried using your tent bag as a stuff sack and just…stuffing the tent in? I’ve learned from other tent people that folding a tent can lead to creases that compromise waterproofing. Or is it easier to fold-and-roll?

    I've seen this type of setup my only issue is that I do not like the idea of sleeping next to my bike which way is a substantial amount and could tip on to me in the middle of the night. I'm wondering if there's enough room to work on the bike inside the interior portion

    • @MotovlogUK
      @MotovlogUK  2 роки тому +1

      There's plenty of room to work on the Bike. Fear of toppling over? If you enter from the right and use a thunderfoot under your side stand, it shouldn't fall over. If it did it would fall away from you but I think unlikely to fall. You could use centre stand if you have one. I don't park my Bike in there anyway, I use the space to store gear, put the chairs in and cook. It's a great Tent.

    This tent is near the top of my list but probably won't make it to the buy sheet. There are a few things I see with every setup video/review that bug me about this tent -
    1. Why RED!!!! That's got to be the least relaxing inner tent I've ever seen. I'm not sure I could stand being in that thing for more than about 15 minutes while the sun is up.
    2. The inner tent walls are very loose - and sag. I think that one simple elastic tie-off in the middle of each side would have solved that. Since I'm solo, it probably won't matter - it just bugs me.
    ---
    3. I've never seen anyone use awning poles to hold up any of the doors - I know they have an awning kit, but no one ever seems to use it - It makes me wonder... Why?
