Now the Centurions are rising up against their masters. The wheel just keeps turning.

7:02 love Tigh's line. "If she is one of us, she's playing it big the other way"

It is interesting and ironic that the original robotic Cylon centurions rebelled against humans because of their slave status.
But once Cylons evolved into human form the new centurions were enslaved once again -this time by the humanoid kind.
For centurions, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Starbuck was the first to welcome (save him on Caprica) Helo back after he rejoined the fleet and everyone called him a traitor, so Helo being there kind of pays it back for her trust in him. Also they have been friends for a while along with Sharon (Boomer) and if I could pick someone it would always be Helo everytime 100%!

Helo might be the only the stable moral character in this tale. He's the keel in this wildly oscillating story. He's the port in a storm.

Saul: Get out of my sight!

Those little meetings of the final 4 are a gathering of the CA (Cylons Anonymous)!

Both Head-Six and Cavil, at separate points, sarcastically alluded to "Cylon parties". We now have them!
(Head-Six in mini-series 2, when she told Baltar that she never saw Aaron in the CPs, and Cavil; before he was unmasked, when he told Chief that chief isn't a Cylon because Cavil is a Cylon and hasn't seen Chief in any of the CPs -- as it turned out -- all of them were Cylons after all!)

I decided that I'd love this series before the premiere, when the synopsys made it clear that Adama knew that throwingthe Galactica into the fight against the cylons in the mini series would result in the deaths of everybody aboard.
I like a hero that's aware of their shortcomings.
There's a point here: Adama often has a knee jerk reaction that is wrong, and as time goes by and he cools his head, he starts thinking right and do the right thing.

And he gets there a lot faster than most of the other characters.

@ Interestingly, Tigh tends to do the right thing - from his priorities - in his first try.
There's an episode early in S1 when Tigh notices a cylon suicide bomber, played cool and called for backup from behind the target. Smart moves, all.
Then Adama saw the cylon and called him out, at which point only Tigh's quick actions saved Adama from being blown up.
There's a pattern there, as variations of this happened tme and again.
Another layered point for the series. I honestly think Tigh is smarterthan Adama. He just lacks the temperament to be a leader, as we saw. Just look at the coup in early S2.

The argument between Adama and Roslin is one of my favourite moments of the entire series. It's such a brutal (but real) portrayal of how people who love each other can hurt each other... And they clearly do.

10:49, With Gaius now seeing Head Gaius, feel free to just sit in the corner and eat a Twinkie while in a stupor. I forgot all about this scene. The plot lines just REALLY weird. LOL.
But this is a conflict that is playing out on multiple planes.

After twenty years, a thought hit me. Roslyn is getting more and more ruthless as time goes by. She's getting desperate.
I'm finally wondering how the series would've developed if she weren't dying.

Laura and Bill are so cute together as friends and colleagues. But at some times when they are alone, they really go at each other like an old married couple.

    1. When Baltar tells Tori that perhaps god is singing his song through him, this must resonate strongly -- as her Cylon nature awoke through a song heard in her head.
    2. Baltar has been believing he is an instrument of god since season one, when he randomly pointed at a photo of a Cylon fuel processing facility for where to attack, and turned out to be correct. He concluded at that time that "there is no other explanation, I must be the hand of god". All subsequent events, to include a lot of encouragements from Head-Six, only furthered his acceptance of this divine chosen-ness.
    3. In Season One, Starbuck goes rouge on behalf of Roslyn when she realizes that Adama is not committed to finding Earth; this time she is going rouge when she realizes that Roslyn isn't committed either.
    4. [Warning: Babylon 5 mega-spoilers] The plotline where the Cylon raiders back off an attack when they were just about to wipe out humanity consequent to scanning a Cylon in the human fleet (Anders) and then have that decision bewilder the humans and divide the Cylons seems lifted from Babylon 5 (1993). In B5 series opener episode, the Minbari, after a long war with humanity, have finally reduced the humans to just Earth and are launching an overwhelming final attack against depleted defenses; only a few suicidal Earth fighters are left to confront them. Then, with no warning and explanation, the entire Minbari empire surrenders unconditionally to Earth -- bewildering the humans and dividing the Minbari. As we learn, slowly, over the subsequent seasons, the Minbari learned through a scan-during-space-battle that the pilot of one of those fighters is an important Minbari (unbeknown to the pilot himself, who considers himself human), there are crucial human-Minbari interconnections, and destroying the humans will also destroy the Minbari. The only way to immediately stop the killing was through surrender.
    Dan.
