So good to see a young person sew and iron as you go. And that you have got proper industrial machines. I'm 73 and had a business with sewing and once you have the right machines and methods it really helps. I love how brave you are with your fabric and patchwork. There are too many people "sewing " on tv and internet and I cringe and if I see another bag being hammered together, I just can't look. In the late 1960s I was taught sewing properly and you will always have an income. And my business was before internet. Think you are amazing and keep up the good work.
You've explained it so well and the pockets and stitch in the ditch instructions can help if anyone who is making your Joy tea towel dress pattern struggles with these parts too. Really good job, beautiful jumpsuit so thank you 🙂🌸🦋 and great gadgets too Xx
Thank you for the video especially to show how you patch work for a neat finish… thank you! Love this jumpsuit… I make hair accessories out of fabric waste. Eventually I want to be able to design and sew dresses too. Love your videos!
So fun and creative! I love to make patchwork clothes and especially from upcycled textiles! I’m into making unlined jackets at the moment and I sew down the seam allowances with a wide three step zigzag wich makes a decorative detail on the outside of the garment.
This video is very helpful! Do you have any advice on replacing a piece if the garment is already assembled? I have one piece with a hole and wondered if it was possible to replace the piece as opposed to patching the hole?
I have done that before with my old junpsuit! You can actually cut the piece out and insert a piece the same size, it just means having to sew it which can be awkward on the machine 😅 I would recommend finishing the edges of the piece you want to insert first, and then sew the replacement into the patchwork 💜
Allô ! Encore superbe modèle . Merci Je me demande si tu aurai par hasard une vidéo où tu travail de vieilles cravate de Monsieur . Sinon pourquoi pas, c’est ma suggestion . Tu travail très bien et je vois de ta passion. Merci
Totally love the jumpsuit! Does it go up to a size 18 or 20? I’m seriously considering making it with my naturally dyed/printed fabrics, maybe with a zip instead of buttons …
Where can I buy the pattern? I have French seemed a lot of fabrics together for a garment but can not find the pattern I think is right for this and I found your channel 🎉
Your videos on construction are very clear and clean. Thank you so much!
