Awesome, simple and easy. Also noticed 2020.12 has cleaned up the old ILLUSION FX. Even giving us a RANDOM BLEND, which allows you to composite without Blend-X, but definitely not as powerful or effective.

Thank you so much for your BlendX plug in. For some reasons, when I tried to play it in real time, it won't show the blend effect and only the clip in video track 2. Do you know why? Thanks again.

This looks like exactly what I want to do but I tried to install BlendX plugin but Avid says it is not supported. Can anyone suggest what I can do to be able to composite/blend shots in Avid?

Hi Praveen, You just follow the download link, download the file, open it and follow the instructions (while MC is closed). Afterwards you can start avid again and the new plugin should show up in your effect palette.

Why always there'll be some kind of inconvenience with png in Avid.... please make a video on importing or creating png in Photoshop and importing into avid..... I switched from Adobe premiere to Avid....it was so easy with premier but not in Avid why...

Hi Channaveer, Thanks for reaching out. What exactly seems to be the problem for you with PNG's? Are you using those with alpha channel?
In the Avid image import settings, you have 3 Alpha Channel options:
- invert on import (white = opaque)
- do not invert (black = opaque)
- ignore
Make sure you've activated "do not invert"
