I purchased this after watching your review and absolutely love it. I am 54, almost 55, have some enlarged pores on my cheeks, fine lines, and a bit of texture on my chin. I ordered the shade 6, Sephora was out of the 4 when I bought it and after swatching it, thought it would be too dark, but it wasn't. I found that it kind of self adjusted to blend with my skin. I applied a small amount with a brush over skin care and tinted sunscreen (my favorite way to wear foundation, since I only need the tiniest amount over the sunscreen) and it blended in beautifully. It isn't heavy, isn't cakey, nor does look or perform like heavier foundations. Just a beautiful, evened , blurring, and smoothing of my skin. I set it with the Jane Iredale pressed mineral foundation and it looks great!
I love the Caliray mascara. I got their Endless Sunset palette (eyes, bronzer/contour, blush, highlight) & their lip balm from the website (20% off first order) and WOW - loving all of it. So easy and pretty. They sent a sample of the Free Dreaming #6 - it's my skin, but significantly younger. The whole face gave me flashbacks to the 80's on the beach as a late teen. Obviously, NOW I HAVE TO GO GET SOME. I love the lip balm too, although I do hope they offer it with less shine one day. It's so cushiony but doesn't bleed all over my lip area or feel sticky, like Fitglow, and I'm not ashamed to tell anyone how much I paid for the Caliray. I see they have a primer and setting spray as well. Have you tried those? I'm using Charlotte Tilbury setting spray for now, because it doesn't shine me up, but I end up spraying on the Rituel de Fille Thorn Milk after the CT dries to alleviate the tight feeling the CT gives me. Do you use the Chantecaille Future Skin as concealer with the Free Dreaming? Have you found a K- or J-beauty sunscreen that's not shiny to work with Free Dreaming? Have you used any powders with it for T-zone, like the Ere Perez? Which ones do you recommend for those too shiny spots that don't add cake? Hey Lisa! So glad you are loving their products. They really are so good. I don't use primers, so I haven't tried that one, but I am interested in the setting spray to try out. I may give that a look. And yes, I use Chantecaille as a concealer with pretty much every base product that I use. I feel like the Beauty of Joseon spf is the least shiny so far that I have tried from K Beauty, and I LOVE the Ere Perez with this and every foundation I own. My fave powder of all time. They did reformulate it I heard, so I can't speak for the new one, but the old version (of which I still have two backups) is my fave. xoxo

Because of you I purchased it, rather than getting a sample. The supply was skant in my Sephora. I shook it up, but the first squirt came out oily. This scared me, but I kept the faith, and starting shaking a lot longer. Second try was much better. On another topic I have been waiting for my JI sheer nude. They sent me and old fashioned e mail apologizing for the delay, and a coupon code for my next order. How lovely is that? Super impressed with their e mail. This looks gorgeous on you! I too get cakey around my nose, and the same areas that you do. This is why I cannot wear the new CT foundation. Plus, this doesn’t look heavy on you. I’m thinking it would work well in south Florida. I am the same skintone as you, so this is very helpful, when you do foundation, and blush reviews. I was going to hype up the new bobbi corrector but I see you used it already! I believe it's better than charlotte tilbury and better than my sisley and my trish mcevoy brightener...all of them🤷🏻♀️I hope it's here to stay!

It's not a liquid to powder by any means, but I do speak to how I think you could get away with not setting because it doesn't feel tacky on the skin. And this is definitely not as luminous as a lot of the other foundations launching lately.

The liquid minerals? This one isn't as moisturizing as that one and has a bit more coverage. :)

They are similar in coverage. This one is a bit more lightweight and is a tad bit more blurring. :) I do also love the Chanel.

Is this anything like the original Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation?
It's been ages since I have tried that, but from what I remember, this one is more blurring than that one.

The only thing is the price for such a small amount of product.. i do like the way it looks on my skin tho
Glad you like it! It is the standard size of a foundation, and I find you don't need a ton, so that helps.
I looked into Cali Ray and they couldn’t find a match for me.
