What a great older coaster! Love the work that went into integrating the mountain theme with the ride. It reminds me of a coaster from when I was a kid called "The Alps" in the old Willow Grove Park in Pennsylvania (shopping mall now). I'll have to find this next time I'm in Copenhagen.
I've ridden it about a year ago and let's just say this is basically the opposite of what a scenic railway normally is (very gentle slopes and turns, more like a high speed tour than a thrilling ride). This thing literally gives ejector airtime if you sit in the front or back, ejecting you out of your seat on every drop and ascent. It's absolutely amazing. It's very charming and classic while also being an amazing thrill ride, and I love it. I've ridden some wooden coasters but this one is still the best one for me. It's truly an amazing ride
Such a beautiful and well cared for coaster and a piece of coaster history, I finally got the chance to ride this in 2021, the park is well worth a visit and was the inspiration for the original Disneyland. ❤️❤️
