The channel is great and i love the content. But the click bate is getting silly now. Your channel is awesome enough that you don’t need to do it!!come on boys!!
Soon as I see a click bait title and i come into comments and see the first comment is about click bait I just don't watch the video. Losing views guys!
I can’t see the point in spending out on the upstairs office when you have an office. Surely it would be more worthwhile investing the money into replacing equipment so your work is at an even higher standard?
I don't understand his business model. 1. An engine reconditioner doesn't make money in an office. 2. Updating the machinery to be more productive which inturn will create better tech content for his channel. 3. Spending business money on an E30 and Escort van before updating machinery
Don't just have exposed padlocks on the container or the standard weatherproof one. Get/Make one with horizontal keyway that you access from below. It makes key insertion tricky, *BUT* makes picking harder see lockpickinglawyer for how easy it is to pick lock. *Also* look at adding container as another zone on alarm
I see the jerky camera pan issue still hasn’t been resolved. Bring back the I phone boys. It’s like in the 90’s trying to watch a bit of blue on a dial up connection 😂
Out of interest, how much extra will building the new office it put on your business rates? We put a mezzanine in and it ended up being quite expensive. The landlord didn't put our rent up, but the council put our business rates up.
I'd given up watching due to the click bait titles and fictitious drama. Just came back to see how you are getting on only to see the title is even worse CLICK BAIT. Goodbye, now is the time to unsubscribe.
Was thinking the same, with all there fck ups obviously fck all work flow , all this money spent on crap instead of replacing Fred Flinstones boring machine or god forbid they buy a honing machine
ok first Air flow in that container as condensation will prevail and earth bonding will be required second do check with your local fire brigade before you build that timber office they might offer some suggestions before you tell your insurance all so you'll likely need planning permission for the container
I reckon you need to build a road race MK1 Ford Transit SWB with the York "snout", Cossie 2.9 V6 and computer controlled gearbox from an Ultima Scorp, XJ Jag back axle, Granada 4 pot calipers and discs and some lary wide American mag slot wheels with wheel arch spats to give it that "Fandango" look :D
I don’t get it, you’re getting rid of an almost unused van and 10 seconds later you’re talking about buying a new one. What are you gonna use that for?
Thanks for finally revealing the true reason rather than a false reason. That's important. We care. We want the truth. Not a click bait reason. Once we know the truth we can judge whether we agree with you or not and you MUST pay attention to us.
Would it not be easier to have a brick building put up where the wash bay is with a roller shutter door? It would be much more secure than a container? Unless you need planning permission? Just a thought though. Plus I’ve noticed a few UA-camrs have had premises broken into and items stolen. That’s why I thought a brick building might deter even more than a container?
It’s not their property so even if the landlady and planning allowed it, they would be improving her unit at their cost and if they ever move they couldn’t take it with them, unlike a container.
My advice re the container is to store work that you haven't started... and your own stuff, I would be very wary about putting completed jobs in there, and most definitely don't mention in videos what might be in it.... most companies I watch tend to do delayed release on videos so that people don't know what vehicles or goodies might be hanging around in thier units...... And definitely make sure that your insurance is well up to the potential value of what might be in storage
Surprised you havent got rid of the van sooner, any other costing savings you make? Good to hear you intend making the workshop more professional, it looks a mess outside the “new” area
Can’t understand why you are about to build out an office when the walls around the engine build area are still unfinished. Looks like you seldom complete anything.
more clickbait comments grow up mate that desperate for views!!!! oh we are doing one video a week with better content thats lasted days how dull do you think we all are
Way back in the summer of 1980 I stripped my (?)1300cc Austin Healy Sprite Sports car engine - I was about 22years old. I’d bought it only a fortnight before for not much cash and soon realised some big end bearings were hammering g away. I had no training but I used to watch my neighbouring farms mechanic stripping his tractors and his Ford Anglia and Jag 3.8 based Jalopy cars. I think I got the crank reground and rebuilt it with new shells. And amazingly it seemed to run quite well. I sold it soon after so never knew how long it lasted or if the crank bearings gave up again et etc! Hard to believe that was 44 years ago..
Lee do you have any 1952 350 matchless/AJS stuff laying about in the "loft of junk" ? I have a basket case in my shed that awaits my retirement. (just down the road Buckland Brewer)
If you are thinking of doing merch, feel free to drop me a message and I’ll send you some freebies. My company specialises in printing merch products and would love to work with a channel I watch regularly :)
Don't buy a container from Cleveland containers I ordered mine with two lock boxes which cost an extra sixty pounds plus Vat it arrived with only one.I never got a refund or a lock box for me to install piss poor customer service avoid.
I didn’t even watch the video, I came straight to the comment section to see if it was more nonsense and it is. Thank you for saving me quarter of an hour
I’d like to say I do enjoy the channel and I liked Lee’s matter of fact delivery on this episode. The stupid ambiguous click bait title is annoying but only a bit. Let’s be honest Lee is a bit of a ‘Captain tricky’ as a person with his not entirely neuro nornormal mental health constitution. But I forgive the click bait. It’s quite funny how much doing this infuriates some of the audience!😂. I myself am a high functioning bipolar diagnosis. And finally in my sixties I’ve got it under control. In my worst depressions I thought long and hard about how to end my life. It’s horrible being there. It’s f ing horrible. I have four children and now 5 grandchildren. Topping yourself is not an option. So I will prob watch every episode. And aside from the technical content which I much enjoy I do salute Lee for opening up about his mental health etc. Men need to open up, talk and get help. I heard an amazing stat the other day ; more men die from suicide in this country than women die from breast cancer. A pretty sobering stat. One request don’t refer to say the V8 (please identify it as the RoveV8 or Merc or whatever it is) and don’t say just say L24 or something, qualify it as a Toyota 2.4 L24 or whatever it is. So many in the audience can’t ID the engine from just something like ‘the L24’. Honestly guys its just verbal laziness. Anyway onwards and upwards Lee, John and Issac. If I’m ever down your way I’ll pop in and say hello if you are around.
The channel is great and i love the content. But the click bate is getting silly now. Your channel is awesome enough that you don’t need to do it!!come on boys!!
I came in the comments to post exactly the same thing.
Soon as I see a click bait title and i come into comments and see the first comment is about click bait I just don't watch the video. Losing views guys!
I agree, but follow the channel anyway so the click bait tactic is irrelevant
I find the titles amusing, I then come straight to the comment section and find the moaning amusing, keep it up Lee.
I now check the comments before watching!
I have a novel idea, why not finish the downstairs before building an office?
I presume that the title is known as clickbait? Seems to be getting more and more. You don’t need it, the contents speaks for itself.
Would include adequate ventilation to outside air in new office as it will be roasting in the summer up in that roof space.
roasting is an understatement. I'd put 4-inch insulation, a skylight (very secure type) a big fan and AC

I d only use tje container for low value stuff especially as you are public on you tube....they are amongst us !
I reckon the new upstairs office will be finished before the workshop is completed. 😛
As for the BMW.... 👻👻
Click bait again, can’t be bothered with this channel anymore

If you have anything upstairs for a Rover T16, I would be interested. Please 🙏
just an idea when you get the shipping container maybe go solar with a 24v system? wireless camera too so you'll get notifications.

you should allow for heating and / or ventilation in the container, they tend to "sweat" making iron things rust and fabrics rot!

Hi Lee, I have sent you an email about a vauxhall B20DTH rebuild, did you get it?
Why a van? It sounds like an older 3-door (hot?) hatch would be adequate.
Lee what in the mezzanine in the machine shop? That would be an excellent cleaning and blasting area
Investing in the company is the right way to go Lee your absolutely correct .

Would love to see a full start to finish engine rebuild, but sadly that's not going to happen
Childish comment or what. ?????
Wouldn't it make more sense to buy a unit?
Pentalver container conversion services did a welfare unit for us.

Why not just refinance final payment on the MsRt? Would be cheaper and a van you know.
Quick question nothing to do with engines. Is young Isaac related to ex Blackburn player Colin Hendry. Asking for a mate.
Volume is better lately!
Cashflow is King. Reduce/realise unnecessary assets - we lease vans rather than the hassle of owning. Concentrate on income earning equipment.

Good work getting rid of all that old stock from upstairs!
Stop with the click bait getting old now
It was a good run. I learned a lot.

Hi Lee. how do i contact you regarding a engine rebuild and refurb.
Their facebook page has phone number and email.
Thank's,I do not have facefarce.
There is something called Google you may have heard of.
@ Agree. But no contact details. However if you are one one so as to speak. Dont bother. I can be more cutting than you. Trust me.
@@onlyme8001 my googling skills are obviously better than yours. I found contact details in less than a minute. Trust you? Why should I do that?
The latest shape transit is junk u will be disappointed if u change to the new shape one
Great work Lee, looking forward to the changes.
Your never finished with German cars your alway fixing the.
You will cook up on that mez in the summer.
Clickbait. Unfollowed....
Joe at Berrow Motors has recently done up a container,he may have some tips for you.
Do you happen to have a flywheel for a yamaha blaster up there Lee 😂😂👍
Great update and the new office will be a good addition for you but you really don't need the clickbait do you!!!

Yep its clickbait but you know its not going to be before you click so whats the issue 😮
Do you need to do the clickbait headlines?
Way too much clickbait and drama this channel's turned into. Goodbye!

Never put what's in the container in a video.
Yes be very careful they are not as secure as you think, anyone with a battery grinder can cut a hole in the side in minutes.🙉🙉🙉
We already know it’s going to be engines
OR, put all of the items that you want gone, into the container, and leave the door open!
@@neilwharton720 anyone could break the window into the office then into the workshop if they really wanted to
Unless it’s an angry Rottweiler inside😂

You could put a pool table up there and a mini bar, that would be great after a hard day of working your nuts off.
