I have never been able to find out how Mossy was able to use/get his own Luthier to make his Strats. He has been a Strat player pretty much his entire career, those old Chisel gigs remain iconic. Fender and Gibson are fanatical in terms of copyright, perhaps Mossy gained an exemption, again am stumped. As the holder of a magnificent blue/white pick guarded HSH [Dimarzio Super Distortion Humbuckers in the bridge + neck, and Seymour Duncan 'Hot Rails' in the middle] - although I'm a Gibson bloke my HSH is a beast. Mossy is an Australian icon. For once the woke pc AFL got it very right !!
