Tedeschi Trucks Band opened for the Eagles show last night in Atlanta - they blew the crowd away with their amazing music - just an amazing performance
They opened for The Eagles? Wow, talk about living in the past. Right now The Eagles should be opening for the, and I’m a fan (somewhat) of The Eagles. This group is hands down the best touring group in the world.
What a beautiful, strong voice. I love music, I always have. I did vocals in a band called Cliques out of Austin in the late 70s at the innocent age of 19. I'm 64 now, I still remember 80% of the lyrics and the point that I needed to come in. I live alone, retired after 36 years as a meat cutter, I sang at work and I still sing every single day. I remember exactly what I was doing and where I was when I 1st heard a song. Music is a time machine, I go back my youth ,when I thought I could do anything. Now ,at 64, the hardest part is admitting that I cant😮
Get a computer. Get Reaper or another DAW. Get some backing tracks. And record some vocals and back up harmonies. It is easy to do. And you can be having even more fun.
These are some of the best musicians touring today. Words fall short when attempting to describe how musically talented Susan and Derek really are. While playing at Red Rocks, the best out door venue on the planet it is an experience all music lovers should witness.

I honestly just heard them play a couple of weeks ago on Pandora. I am 65 years old. I love music, grew up on music, my father was a musician, and honestly, I have not heard them before that day that I can think of. What an amazing band and an amazing couple.
Statesboro was the Allman Brothers signature song. I was lucky to see them with Duane before he died. Susan and Derek carry the torch. Somewhere Duane is smiling.
Consider yourself very luck as was i back in 1970 when i saw Duane & the original band at RFK Stadium for the fest The Berlin Airlift when Grand Funk was the top bill & lots of local Washing DC bands along with some fairly unknown guys called The Allman Brothers Band , no many folks knew who they were but after the first song everyone there knew who the were !!!! Two Susan Tedeschi guitar solos? Sublime. As much as I'll never get tired of listening to a Derek Trucks solo, the excitement she brought to Anyhow is refreshing. If they ever come to play Downunder, I'll be there.
I'll be right beside you. I don't know if it's a sign of ageing ( almost 54 ) but I can't imagine I'll ever hear or see a better band in my lifetime. Please make your way Down Under soon TTB.
Have never seen Tedeschi Trucks Band but I saw the Allman Brothers Band play the 50th anniversary show at RR back in 2009 with Tedeschi and her playing appears to have gotten light years better since. Either that or she just wasn’t called upon to show off the chops since she was just a guest performer for that show but either way, she rips.
To be able to hear this band at Red Rocks would have been a dream. The Red Rocks venue has been the site for so many great performances over so many years. I spent many days and evenings there in the 60's and 70's. To listen to loved music and then watch the city of Denver slowly light up in the background was a life long experience. Thank you.
The power of their music can leave me speechless and bring me to tears. I’ve been fortunate enough to hear these musicians live only once, but that memory elevates every new opportunity I have to hear them. Thank you, Tedeschi Trucks band!!!
Both are incredibly talented musicians. When I lived in Colorado, was able to see some amazing musicians live at Red Rocks. Always left there sunburned, deaf and smiling from ear to ear.
You are witnessing, two wholesome genuine artists, that ever made music ... that found each other, and sure to make history ! I've seen them several times live. What a treat, when I got both autographs on a photo, with their favorite guitars 2019.
Bravo amazing as always. And the best venue there is. Truly excellent group top notch musicianship. Surely Duane, Barry, Greg, and Butch would be smiling down on them without a doubt.

I was at this show and I’d definitely have to say it was in the top 10. That’s saying a lot since I’m 66 and have seen hundreds of concerts also with some amazing stories to follow! Perfect weather at Red Rocks that night and the crowd was into it!
To walk on the stage cold and get this groove shows ultimate talent and extreme professionalism. Then get Susan to punch out a blistering solo at the end of anyhow is marvelous. Then to rock the house with the classic SBB Trucks showing guitar elevation second to none. WOW😎. The best touring band of our times.

I’d have to respectfully disagree about the best band touring. They are fantastic no doubt but Blackberry Smoke is absolutely killing it in their shows.
