Excellent Alex! Didn’t know you put this out - parallel timing with the WRX that you did work on for literally weeks later. Air intake and OTS tuning alone got me 317 whp and 341 torque at 93 octane. Can’t wait for your next videos.

I'd say 6K is probably a safe rev limit for the engine, as we know Car companies for the most part try to keep it safe/long term use for their customers. Yet I am hoping the transmission, head gaskets, head, and engine itself is an improvement on previous models.

After Travis pastrana did a test run in this car. You see that this is a very capable car and if you think now the 25 sti is based of the 23 therefore the aftermarket is about to open up greatly for this car and this will be a sti swap candidate in the future.

I’m a sucker for VB content 😁 I know exact numbers don’t mean much dyno to dyno but I think Subaru may have stated wheel hp/tq numbers instead of crank hp/tq for this gen or they just downplayed it like you said for some reason 😂 I’ve seen quite a few bone stock cars dyno around 260/270 at the wheel. 💪🏻🔥🔥 Can’t wait to see more

50 miles and already flooring it? yikes, i have the 22 wrx in dark grey and yeah it hard to not push it in its first 1000 mile break-in period, i mean look at donut media, they put new engines in, never broke them in and look what happened a few hundred miles later, idk about tuning a car with only 50 miles on it cause engine damage can be so subtle and happen and you dont know about it and youre tuning off a soon to be non running engine, but hats off to you good luck guys

I feel like these cars are over rated people are getting super excited about these numbers and gains and are worried about numbers and gains I want to know if this car is going to be able to hold 400 WHP AND 450 WTRQ after putting 50k hard miles on it this car still has the shit ass split case 6speed in it I truly don’t believe we are going to know the FA24 capabilities until someone does the STI drivetrain swap once I did the STI drivetrain swap on my 2019 wrx I eliminated the biggest weak point of the car and was able to push the car without worring about it breaking cuz everyone thinks the FA20s weak point is the Rods if you build the car correctly you can run 400whp and 420trq in a FA20 for 50k miles Becuase the weak point on my build was the drivetrain not the engine I just really want to see how long these FA24s handle power and the longevity of them Becuase I’m honestly thinking about adding one to the lineup but it’s just to early for me I really want to see more one with hard miles on it that has been tuned for a long time more parts availability I just feel these guys going out and buying them and throwing all these parts on these cars not knowing how long the motor will last is a huge risk all I can say is I hope you have deep pockets or buy a FA24 block and have it sitting on the side line cuz this happend with the FA 20 people started throwing huge numbers at them and they started breaking and they got a reputation of blowing up when it was the people not building them correctly or throwing to much power at them with wrong parts or using OTS tunes with wrong parts and the car was labeled and unreliable I just don’t want the same thing to happen to this car I’m a simple guy I love Subarus and I want this car to preform great I’m just afraid some of these guys are gonna try to throw everything they can at them and they are not going to last and they will get labeled as unreliable when it’s really not the case it was someone throwing way to much power at a car that could not handle it just very interested to see what the future holds after these thing have 50,60,70k miles on them IMO just to early to get excited about these numbers it’s throwing down.

@Drew Miller I’m with you on this. As far as deep pockets, apparently todays buyer of the 22/23 WRX must have deep pockets. I mean hell, the ink isn’t even dried on the buying contract and they’ve already got a garage full of bolt ons & a COBB tuner ready to destroy their warranty. They have no idea what’s going to happen 50k miles down the road. By the time they spend all of the money and time, why not just buy a more powerful and faster car to begin with. Would I like to have more power? Heck yeah, but I just can’t in good conscience mod the shit out of a brand new car that I depend on to get to work every day. I only bought this car because I wanted AWD without it being a putt putt grocery getter. The build quality & fit/finish alone leaves me really weary about doing anything to this car. My biggest gripe is the super thin sheet metal and the horrible hood flex on the hinges side. It flexes with every single imperfection in the road, even very minor ones.
The sad thing is you’ll never see someone on UA-cam or FB admitting that something catastrophic happened because of the modding someone did on their car. Not only that, but I’m treated as less of a person because I won’t modify mine. How sad is that? It’s such a sad world we live in today.
