how to change 2003 murano brake light bulb

a simple DIY project is to change busted light bulbs in your vehicle. this procedure was done in less than 10mins, and saves you a lot of money compared to bringing it to an autoshop...
sorry the video is dark: this was done in my garage with the light in front of the vehicle so the shadows were on the wrong side. it should still show enough to help :-)

This video can be used as a rough guide, I followed his procedure and went well until it came to removing the light out of the metal framed socket ( the vehicle ), there are plastic guides that will break. The light has to be pulled straight up to remove to avoid damaging those plastic guides, if you move the light from side to side you will break these plastic guides as I did.

You probably know already that the video was too dark and, as a result, was hard to see what he was doing. That problem aside, the directions were very good and I completed the task in about 15 minutes. More like on the videoed work would be very beneficial. Thank you.

Good information. Helping a friend, and read her manual, and they tell you nothing except, bring the car in. Hope it works for a 2005. That is a poor way for the car manufacturers to make money. Thanks again

Your right, there seems to be 2 different brake lights. We finally got the right bulb which was a mini bulb and also a brake bulb. We got frustrated thinking you recommended wrong bulb but in reality there are 2 options and we picked the wrong one based off this video. Keep up the great work, this video still helped.
