- This is the backyard cleanup of the elderly woman we are trying to help so she can move back in. She was very much shocked at the transformation. This one here completely tired me and Tyler out. It's hard work shoveling off 2-3 inches of dirt mixed in with vines. Although it was super hard work, I think the result was fantastic.

My neighbor got hurt and couldn’t mow his very large lawn for a couple of months during our rainy season so I mowed it for him cause we’re friends and they’re good neighbors. And it keeps the fire hazard down for the whole neighborhood. The world is full of good people.❤️

Getting old(er) is no joke. I'm seventy years of age with leukemia and cannot do a fraction of what I could do when I was at your age. Helping this elderly person out is "storing up treasure in Heaven". Well done, young fella. 😇
Absolutely agree, hope you are able to cope with illness and have quality time too. How true that getting older is no joke. Having good health is a large determinant.
I’m 68, and always been active, but can see and sense that I’ll have trouble keeping up my gardening and lawn work.
Fortunately I can call on a service to do some of the heavy duty work. And fortunately I can afford the cost (at least for now).
I have a back yard entirely flowers, shrubs, landscaping. I just work on sections a day at a time and manage to keep it up. We have a lawn waste removal bin weekly

This is the kind of stuff we all should be doing for those in need. No charge no being asked to just doing. I really think that young people should do two years of public service or join the military then we pay for your school. I think people would learn empathy and how to be a better person.
When your house looks clean and bright. Life feels good to live. You feel motivated, energized.
My son (39) has Aspergers and I absolutely feel the same! I wanted a nap, too, after watching all your work! My son’s perspective on anything and everything is so refreshing. He never has a bad thing to say. He’s very positive and a hard worker. He has taught me so much and I do try to see life as positively as he does. Thank you for sharing your life, love and passion! That overgrown yard made the elderly woman a prisoner in her own home,(not to mention a fire hazard with door blocked)! That backyard was totally unsafe and she could have fallen down and no one would be able to find her in that jungle! Now that it is clean, she can go outside and drink a coffee on her patio. She can put some flower pots out and not be afraid of tripping over vines. YOU GUYS are both wonderful in helping someone who could never return the favor! God will BLESS YOU in return! I do all this and paint my house, repair patch and seal my asphalt driveway and every other household chore that needs doing along with cooking cleaning and shopping & I take care of my cats and dog too .
Each Summer I wonder if I can do it one more time. When you want to stay independent it is a miracle what can be accomplished.
Even when I had a husband I did a majority of the inside and outdoor 'chores'.

I am grateful to folks like this who are willing to help out an elderly person. They want to retain their independence and remain in their own homes but some yard work is beyond their physical capability. We've always told our older neighbors if they ever need help, all they have to do is let us know.

I remember when Church folks would get together. Now i can't find a Church near me.
You are both beyond kind! The sad thing as you know, is this yard will be up and growing in three weeks. Elderly people are on a very limited income. They can mow their yard or eat. It’s a shame some neighbors can’t get together and take turns mowing. We grouped together in our neighborhood and switched off weeks, I only had to mow every five weeks.
It kept our street up, and helped the elderly man and gave him a whole new circle of friends for backyard parties and BBQ’s. ❤️ 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 I wish goodness could grow.
What would be cool is if her neighbors or family could pitch in to help install a yard that doesn't require as much maintenance. Clover, for example, doesn't grow much past a couple inches under good conditions.
This was fulfilling to watch because you put in a lot of work 👌🏽
I love watching you and Tyler work together. All kids on the spectrum have different levels of capabilities and the fact that he can follow directions and stay on task speaks volumes to your parenting.
This property is kind of like an archeological dig. You just don't know what you're going to uncover.

@@ElCid48 there are a lot of people who, think the videos (where they do free acts of kindness)are actually a lie. In today's world very few believe in helping others so they don't expect people to do this type of thing, which is honestly really sad.
