Funny. Been here 33 yrs and never even considered sharing our pasture. Long story short; we had the most abundant spring of our lives and our pasture was lush. My neighbor's cows were needing grass so we moved them to our farm to eat. Wouldn't you know that this year we had a couple crises with our cattle and the neighbors pitched in with their boys to help? We could have never done it without them! They also paid to have our fields bush hogged! And we never asked....it just happened.

Sorry to hear that you had poison ivy issues. Seems kind of bogus to me if the owner brought in someone else. If there wasn't any discussion between the two of you when he hired you about it being a time sensitive issue he could've called you to see what the delay was and inform you that it needed to be done soon. He obviously knows how to contact you. You did a great job!

I mean a month is a while but I’d say the homeowner is lucky because some people suck and will sue if they get hurt doing a service for you on your land.
The condition his yard was in made it so it wasn’t even a yard anymore. It was literally a part of the forest. One man alone, this would’ve been an all day project. 2-3 men, maybe a 5-6 hour project. The time constraint was unreasonable. I would’ve charged a premium for the amount of work to be done.

Sorry to hear that you had poison ivy issues. Seems kind of bogus to me if the owner brought in someone else. If there wasn't any discussion between the two of you when he hired you about it being a time sensitive issue he could've called you to see what the delay was and inform you that it needed to be done soon. He obviously knows how to contact you. You did a great job!

It’s funny that a yard can be this bad and the homeowner is fine with that. But once they hire someone to clean it up, this needed done yesterday.
I mean a month is a while but I’d say the homeowner is lucky because some people suck and will sue if they get hurt doing a service for you on your land.
@Cabbage Head ever get poison ivy? Because I imagine it’s hard to do this job when your covered in blisters.
The condition his yard was in made it so it wasn’t even a yard anymore. It was literally a part of the forest. One man alone, this would’ve been an all day project. 2-3 men, maybe a 5-6 hour project. The time constraint was unreasonable. I would’ve charged a premium for the amount of work to be done.
Regardless of what the owner thinks, objectively, you did a great amount of quality work. keep on keeping on.!
