What a fantastically good 80's New Wave! You can hear it in the classic composition and structure of the songs, how it sounded back then... and I'd bet the number "Wild Rain" got people flocking to the dance floor and dancing the night away at the club. Man, that must have been awesome back then!
As someone who was around back then, Velveteen didn't get the air play they should have. We had Album 88 in Atlanta that was a college station who had shows like the Best of Britain every Sunday.
Velveteen had some great songs on this EP. Damn shame they didn't the recognition they deserved.
