My ERB reaction playlist!
Skrillex tripped himself when he claimed no one knows Mozart. That was just flat out BS.
Mozart won it hand down! To me the nail in the coffin was when Skrillex said that "no one even knows you." Even the Axe Master Eddie Van Halen named his kid Wolfgang.
Baroque is an era of music. But Mozart was from the classical era. If you wanted Baroque, you go for Vivaldi.
People over hate Skrillex a lot because it's easy to make fun of dubstep. Dubstep was a weird phase but it was pretty influential to modern pop and edm, and Skrillex was the seminal guy of that era. If you ask any modern day producer of anything tangentially related to edm, they will tell you they listened to his music and surely influenced them. The truth is, he is a very prominent producer in hip-hop and edm to this day. To have that kind of longevity and impact in modern day music is pretty remarkable.
Your modern music background was very helpful with dissecting this battle. It was without a doubt one of your better react videos. Well done.
The "Ah ah ah ah Amadaus" is a reference to an 80's song by Falco called "Rock Me Amadaus"
Yes, Skrillex's name is Sonny Moore. He used to be the lead vocalist of a band called "From First To Last" in the mid 2000s.
I aqtualy forgot all about skrillex untill ERB made this. so its true that hes forgotten after a few years.
Nobody caught how 'dead mouse' was a reference to Deadmou5?
Skrillex beat him hands down
i remember there was an erb concert and when they sang this battle on stage they brought the real skrilex to sing with them
The 'prodigy sonny, and I'm about to smack a bitch up' line also refers to the band Prodigy writing the song 'smack my bitch up'
2013: Mozart vs. Skrillex
You the only guy to catch the Attack Decay Sustain Release bars
"Smack my bitch up" was a song by the band Prodigy.

Damn that attack decay explaination a learning experience for me and I have watched ERB so much. Thanks for the lesson!
regarding the ''you go piano to fortississimo'' line here is what i could find regarding that line
Finally someone has the epic rap battles meanings website up to consult when they don't get one. While i do love historians being able to take apart a verse like a surgeon, and i appreciate the honesty of someone who admits they don't know the bars hit better when you can look at what they're referencing.
