    Quick tip, sometimes the bench seat its very difficult to get unlatched at the bottom , what I found that works really well is to use the front power seat and a 2×4 lay the 2x4 so that they edge is running long ways at the base of the bench right at the latch then prop the other end of the 2x4 against the back bottom of the front seat then use the back botton on them front seat to make the front seat travel backward thus pushing the latch of the bench until it unlatches, go slow i mean real slow nothing worst than to have the 2x4 pop and poke a hole in your seat. Slow and easy will get it done.

      @lawjo1978  3 роки тому +1

      I totally agree with you. That bottom cushion isn't easy to unlatch at all. I don't have a problem with taking the time and go slow. Less errors that way. I'm gonna have to give that 2x4 method a try. Thank you for sharing this with me.

    Mr. Jones, how are you? I'm in dire need of knowing how to move electrical seats (94 Cadillac Deville Concours) via battery in a junkyard? Please & thank you

    • @lawjo1978
      @lawjo1978  3 роки тому

      I'm doing pretty good thanks for asking. The best way to move the seats from a junkyard vehicle that has power seats and the battery is most likely been removed is to take a jumper box with you if you have access to one. That is what I usually take with me and it does work. Just enough to move the seats. Not much else. I hope this helps...

      Hey Tortezzy..... It won't give you full access to the trunk since the seat back rest on a steel brace. It just make installation way easier should you want to install new speakers in the factory locations or doing new speaker wire....
