Until Oscar came along, universally Liszt was considered the greatest pianist of all time. Now, according to Yehudi Menuhin it is Oscar Peterson. May he rest in peace, the. beauty he bestowed on us, will stay forever.

Hi! Haha:) I live in Budapest, so…actually this was recorded by me few years ago from MTV (Hungarian National TV). Honestly, 2025 will be the year of the 100th anniversary of Peterson’s birth. With my research i would like to inspire other people to upload more and more videos from the vault, like i do. These treasures have to be public, and listenable to everyone. UA-cam launched almost 20 years ago, and so many Peterson records, concerts, and broadcast videos are still hidden. This needs to be changed , and i will bring to you more and more rarities :) Andris
