In case you haven't noticed the TM-1 comes with K67 type center terminated capsule and NT-1 with Ck12 type edge terminated capsule, those are different animals altogether. K67 type capsules have treble boost which has to be fixed by built-in EQ. So TM-1 is not exactly an NT-1 copy, though they look similar, they both have U87 type basket, add Tannoy TM1 to the same genre. In addition to frequency plots it would be very useful to see the waterfalls as they can show the real tonal balance much better.
Bandrew, have you ever thought of plotting frequency graphs of the mics? It wouldn't have to be 100% scientific. I think the AKG has the best sound to price ratio. For broadcast voice work I’d start with my vintage AKG D202-E1& if that didn’t sound good I’d switch to my Electrovoice RE 20.
Try the ADK Vienna or Hamburg
When will they make behringer tm7b ☺️ BTW already there is a 150$ shure sm7b on Ali express. Please do a side by side review of the fake Ali express sm7b vs original sm7b
I CAN"T SEE ITS SO F*&^ING BRIGHT
I read the thumbnail as "Budgentia", lol
7:10 That's an awesome looking mic. It's HUGE.
Tm1 or b2 pro
If the pop filter and/or windscreen change the tone of a mic, and you often demo a mic with and without... wouldn't your watch cap/beanie between the headphones and your ears modify *everything* you hear?
Yes. Yes it does. I’m not basing my opinions on what I’m hearing while I’m recording though. I just wear headphones to monitor to make sure I’m not clipping or popping the mics.
have you considered getting a snare drum to test alongside your guitar tests?
Hi Bandrew, great video as always! Do you know anything about a Wireless Blue Yeti? Apparently, Russell Brand got one...it looks like a regular version but without wires! Probably is a pre-production model for him to test it...If is real, I can't wait your review!
Wait, what the crap?? Wireless recording mic?? Even for LogiBLUE, this is ridiculous!
Thanks! Your video helped a lot.
Will it be good with Behringer um2 u-phoria ?
Because you have 24bit/48khz but Behringer um2 u-phoria have only 16bit/48khz and i dont know if IT will work good.. please? :D
I was wondering when you were gonna get this one.
Thanks for another no nonsense review. Very well done.
Sir plz review AKG Ara Usb microphone
Love from india , I love your reviews and follow your videos regularly ♥️♥️
That Lauten Audio FC-387 - What a weird looking mic. Looks like Bandrew's holding a mug of coffee.
Sounds good, but a bit on the hollow side for voice. Volume drops off pretty hard with distance. Picks up the keys a lot. Probably not worth the price tbh. Highs aren't quite piercing enough on the electric, but it did well on the acoustic.
Lauten Audio is so smooth
thanks for the vid. i'll be getting this one.
Podcastage please turn on google translate in your option!!
Lewitt lct 840?🥺 maybe Vanguard Audio Labs V13?🥺🥺 or perhaps Universal Audio 710 twin-finity preamp?🥺🥺🥺
NEED a UAD Volt 276 review, please...
I liked that last microphone best. What was the name again. Neumann U97 or something. Probably a nice brand? Sounded good.
It was the Newman W78.
@@Podcastage cheers! Any idea where I can get meself a coupon for that?
Hey podcastage! Universal Audio just dropped their Volt line budget audio interfaces. Im so curious about the preamp noise test results for the 76's series. Could you do a review on it?
I preordered one and will review it whenever they come out and I can get ample time with them.
@@Podcastage Thanks! looking forward to it!
EPOS B20 ? I really hope you get to review that mic I would be very interested
I love your reviews , and I have to agree ... those high frequencies horrible.... $120 can be used on something else
Maybe you should review Behringer mics alongside Behringer interfaces. Mixing Behringer and Focusrite might be your problem with how they sound. I'd love to see a BX2020 or TM1 review with one of the U-Phoria Series interfaces.
if no any false details and microphone effects. in my opinion, i would choose Behringer TM1 over rode NT1A
I think Behringer would be doing themselves a big favour by doing their own thing rather than trying to make budget copies; or so it seems.. Their stuff is okay... but. I just think they have the possibility to go to the next level but you can't do that having the perception of being "Brand B".
When will the Behringer BDSM7 come?
Excellent compression video 👍 thanks love from INDIA
Where is 2021 studio tour?
How you make backgroud silent ?
Are you use mac or windows ?
Thank you
I WANT YOU TO REVIEW / TEST THE BEYERDYNAMIC M90 CONDENSER MICROPHONE!!!!!
Mine came with the sticker... Worth it! 😅
Hi, I wanted to ask, Which is the best Boom Shotgun Microphone under 80$? 100$ would be okay as well.
What I want to know is: did they make a better built box for throwing than RODE?
Would it be good for performing live as well?
why don't people slate Warm Audio in the same way?
Hello! In your opinion, is it better than Behringer B2-Pro?
Sounds very agressive on my phone
